Emily's POV*
"So where are we going?" I asked Grayson as we strolled down the street.
"Surprise" He said and smirked at me.
"Ugh I hate you" I said and rolled my eyes.
"Oh me and Maddie finally got jobs" I said looking at him.
He smiled. "Where?" He asked.
"McDonalds"I said laughing.
"Really? McDonalds" He laughed at me.
I pushed him. "It was the best we could do. How else are we gonna buy an apartment" I said.
"I guess so" he said and smiled. We walked and talked all the way to where ever we're going.
The sun was beginning to set and it was slowly getting darker.
Grayson took me up to a dirt trail and told me to close my eyes.
"Grayson I'm gonna fall and break my leg" I said.
He laughed. "Here, give my your hand" he said and reached his hand out for me to grab.
I smiled and grabbed his hand. "Now close your eyes Emily" he said grinning.
"Just don't take me to the woods and like kill me or something" I said.
"I can't make any promises" he said pulling up the trail. I hit him lightly with my free hand.
After about 10 minutes of Grayson teasing me and making me "accidentally" walk into trees and stuff we finally reached the end.
"Alright keep those eyes closed Em" he said and put his arms on mine.
"Take it off now" he said. I could feel him smiling.
I opened my eyes and saw where we were. We were standing in front it the Hollywood Sign. My face lit up.
A huge smile formed on my lips. I looked at Grayson who was smiling at me. "You and Mads are always talking about how you've always wanted to see the view from the Hollywood sign, so I thought I'd take you" He said shyly.
I wrapped my arms around him. "Thanks Gray" I said to him. We pulled away and sat close beside each other on a rock.
The sun was about to set. Perfect timing.
Grayson's POV*
We sat and watched the sunset. It was beautiful. I looked over at Emily who was in awe of the view.
She looked so beautiful. I've never even noticed how pretty she is. Her long wavy brown hair gently blowing in the wind. Her gorgeous green eyes looking at the view. Her big pink lips slightly parted forming a smile.
When the sun finally went down she didn't take her eyes off the view of the city and all of its lights.
We sat there in silence just looking at the view. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was just peaceful.
I couldn't keep my eyes off her. I guess she caught me staring because she looked me and smiled.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing. It's just I never realised how beautiful you are" I said smiling.
She blushed and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"Emily Bennett are you blushing" I said teasing her which made her blush even more.
"Um no" she said looking away smiling. I pulled her face looking toward me with my hand on her chin.
