Astrid over heard.
"WHAT?!?!" Astrid exclaimed.
"It's just that you two are so close, so I just thought that you two were a thing," Josh answered.
"THAT'S IT," Astrid said angrily as she stood up.
"Whoa, Astrid. How about you calm down a bit," Desmond said as he stood in front of Astrid.
"I am perfectly calm," Astrid said as she tried to walk towards Josh.
"Mhm mm mm," Desmond started. "Doesn't look like it."
"You guys sure that you're not a thing," Josh said. "I swear you two fight like a marry couple."
"OH NO CHU DIDN'T! LET ME GO DESMOND!," Astrid said.
"Not till you calm down," Desmond told Astrid. "Josh must you be such an idiot."
"What it's true. And plus you two look like an adorable couple."
"Josh can't you just be quiet for once," Desmond asked angrily.
"LET ME GO DESMOND! LET ME KILL HIM!" Astrid yelled as she tried to get past Desmond.
"As much as I'll like that, I'll have to say no," Desmond answered.
Astrid broke free from Desmond's grip.
"Run," Desmond told Josh.
"Huh?" Josh replied.
Astrid was ready to tackle Josh.
"Oh no," Josh whispered.
Before Astrid could get to Josh, Desmond grabbed her by the arm.
"Calm down, Astrid," Desmond told her.
For once Astrid listened to him.
Astrid and Desmond could hear footsteps and saw the teacher coming towards them.
"Both of you, to the principal's office," they heard the teacher.
"Sigh, let's go Astrid," Desmond said.
~~~~~~
Principal Office:
"Really Astrid getting into a fight??" The principal asked.
"It wasn't really a fight," Astrid said. "It was more like an argument."
"Astrid??" The principal asked questionably.
"In my defense, I didn't hurt him."
"But, you attempted to, didn't you?" The principal asked.
"Well," Astrid said, "when you put it that way."
"Mhm mm mm," the principal said. "You know that this school doesn't tolerate fighting, right?"
Astrid nodded.
"Mhm mm mm," the principal said. "I am going to call your parents."
"Sigh, I understand sir," Astrid answered.
"But Desmond didn't do a thing so he shouldn't be punished for my actions," Astrid tried to defend Desmond.
"I'll talk to Desmond," the principal answered. "But first I am calling your parents."
"Alright."
In Astrid's mind, Astrid was just hoping that the principal would call her house number first and that Jammie would answer instead of her parents.
After the principal called he asked Astrid to wait outside his office and for Desmond to go inside.
After a few minutes, Desmond was allowed to go back to class and Astrid was relieved.
Astrid went into the principal's office again and they waited for Astrid's parents to come in.
A few minutes later they heard a knock on the door. Astrid hoped it was Jammie.
"Come in," the principal said.
And in came Jammie. Astrid was relieved.
"Hello," the principal said to Jammie.
The principal explained to Jammie what had happened. Astrid could tell that Jammie was not happy.
At the end of the conversation between the principal and Jammie, Astrid had to go home and would be able to go back the next day.
When they walked out, Astrid was expecting to see Jammie's motorcycle. But instead she saw a car with one of Jammie's friends inside.
"Who's that?" Astrid asked.
"A friend who was supposed to take me to school but brought me here instead," Jammie said a bit frustrated.
"Zowwy," Astrid said as she looked down at the ground.
"Mhm mm mm," Jammie said. "Looks like I am not going to go to school --"
"What?!" Astrid interrupted.
"Well yea. You didn't think I'll let you stay at home alone especially after what happened did you?" Jammie asked.
"Maybe," Astrid responded.
Jammie just started shaking his head, "just get in the car."
Astrid got in the car and saw Jammie's friend sitting in the driver's seat.
"Can you drive us home?" Jammie asked.
"Sure," he answered.
"Can you make it to school on time?"
"Yea," he said, "no big deal."
"Alright."
The ride home was pretty quiet except by the fact that music was playing.
When they got home, Astrid and Jammie got out the car and thanked Jammie's friend.
"Let's go Astrid," Jammie said as he got the house keys out.
Once inside, Jammie said, "your lucky that I was still home and answered the phone."
"I know, I know," Astrid answered. "Are you telling Mom and Dad??"
"Of course I am," Jammie said. "They deserve to know."
"No they don't," Astrid muttered.
"I heard that," Jammie said.
"It's true," Astrid said as she put her stuff on the counter.
"Anyway, you know your grounded, right?"
"What?!" Astrid exclaimed.
"You. Are. Grounded."
"That's not fair," Astrid argued.
"You were about to fight with a kid, Astrid," Jammie answered.
"Sigh, fine," Astrid said. "I'm going to my room."
"Alright," Jammie answered. "I am calling Mom and Dad."
"Jsjsndnxbd," Astrid muttered.
"I heard that," Jammie said.
Astrid was bored out of her mind in her room so she decided to take a nap. By the time she woke up she saw that it was 2:00 pm.
Was I really this tired?? Astrid thought to herself when she saw her clock.
She walked to her desk and saw something strange. She saw an envelope sealed and with her name written in fancy writing. Next to the envelope she saw a little vial with a blue liquid inside.
Astrid felt a shiver and saw that her window was open even though it was closed when she fell asleep.
"What??" Astrid asked to no one in particular.
