I try
Each day goes by and by
When I can't look her in the eye
Through the one way mirror
And they fear her
I fear herI fear what her emotions can do
Nearly every barrier
She has the ability to rip through
But she can't because I fear herI shed a tear for her
I live with her
Many many years with her
I encourage herBut she's paralyzed
Maybe move a fingertip
Lick her lip
But there she liesShe can open and close her eyes
But her throat so tight
She can't speak a whisper nor a lie
But inside her mind she fightsArgument after argument
Is that what I meant?
Is it true?
Is she you?I clinch my eyes
Oh so tight
I hold back my voice
Until I see the light
