Hey beautiful ladies and gentlemen! Wow it's been such a long time since I last updated but I have been so busy with school work. Let me not bore you and welcome to a new L I F E part. Enjoy!
Emma quickly dodged her mum as she tried to kiss her cheek after they dropped her off at school. Her parents had insisted to walk with her since it was her first day as a high school student. She always felt embarrassed when her mum tried to shower her with love publicly. She didn't want to look like a little spoiled girl.
Turning around, Emma headed to the school gates, and as she did, she heard her dad say loudly: " Love you princess!" She quickly walked away, her cheeks reddening as she heard the other students snicker.
She loved her parents dearly but she didn't know how to express it especially with the presence of people around them. Many time they confronted her about it clearly upset with her, and each time she would deny it sincerely, and they would smile and drop the subject, but each time she knew they didn't quite believe her.
And now, as she risked looking back at them, it hurt her to see the crestfallen looks on their faces. She sighed and cursed herself for this, she will talk to them tonight and they will hopefully understand.
It was third period now and Emma had made quite a few friends around, and even though, for her relief, the scene with her parents in the morning was never brought up, she had a bad feeling in her gut. It was confirmed when the principal barged in the classroom.
The principal was a short bald man that she met when she had to pick her schedule, and he was really kind and nice. He said nervously: " Miss Emma, please come with me?" The young girl gulped and forced her sweaty palms in her jeans and went out of the class behind him.
He added now his voice a soft whisper: " I'm sorry to be the bearer of those bad news, but your parents had been in a huge car crash going to work, and they didn't survive."
Collapsing to the hallway tiles, she let out a pained whimper as she started full on crying, fat tears rolling her cheeks. And then she started cyring hysterically when she realised she never had a chance to tell them she loved them. She never will.
NEVER HESITATE TO TELL YOUR LOVED ONES THAT YOU LOVE THEM EVERY CHANCE YOU GET, BECAUSE ONE DAY, THEY MIGHT BE GONE AND YOU WOULD HAVE MISSED YOUR CHANCE.
