Not Leaving Her Side

I stood by Touka's right side, while....whoever this is.....is doing....whatever he's doing...

Touka:"Tsukiyama."

That's his name?

Tsukiyama:"Ah...long time no see, Mon Cheri."

Touka goes back to wiping the countertop.

Touka:"What is it?" She says, coldly.

My heart....it's beating fast...

Tsukiyama:"Oh, come now. I'm a customer. Then again, I can't expect too much from someone with your charms."

Touka:"You're lucky I'm at work right now."

I slightly tug on her right sleeve.

Touka:"What?" She asks without looking.

You:"I....never mind.....it's nothing..."

I look behind to see-TSUKIYAMAMAWHOISRIGHTINFRONTOFMYFACE!!!

My eyes widen and I try to back up, only to hit the counter.

He...sniffs me...?

Tsukiyama:"You....are human......but....there's.......what are you doing here?"

Touka:"Tsukiyama."

We both look at Touka who is staring daggers into Tsukiyama.

Touka:"Leave him alone. NOW."

"I'm human.....but there's..." What?

Tsukiyama backs away, but lightly chuckles.

Tsukiyama:"Aw, you're no fun..."

I grab his left arm.

You:"What are you doing here?!"

Tsukiyama:"Please, dear boy..."

He grabs my head and slams the back of it against the counter, making me spit out.

Tsukiyama:"Watch your tone, when you're around me."

I fall to the ground, gripping my head in pain as I begin to cough, violently.

I heard a table fall over, as I struggled to get up.

Touka:"Get out before I kill you."

The rest was sort of a blur, since I was sort of fading in and out of consciousness.

I felt a pair of familiar hands help me stand.

Touka:"He got you, really good. Are you able to walk?"

You:"I...why can't I....T-Touka..."

I lost my balance and fell over, but Touka caught me.

Touka:"Shit, this isn't good! Hey! I need some help over here!"

I saw her looking into my scared eyes.

Touka:"You're going to be alright. Don't worry..."

And that was the last thing I heard....before I blacked out...
