part 4: detention

This morning****

Sasori: "what happened yesterday?"

".... I didn't feel well."

Sasori: "How are you feeling today?"

"Better.. Thank you."

(I know it's  Tuesday lol)

It's Monday evening I'm in third hour waiting for class to start. I think about this morning and how I found two notes fall out my locker "Probably rude comments again." I said to myself.

I took out the two notes and was deciding if I should throw them away or open them now. I shouldn't read them during class. I put them inside my back pack and decided to read them during lunch..
As I look over my notes once more for todays pop quiz. Sasori makes his way in walking towards his desk.

"OK Everyone listen up! You have 45 minutes to finish the test. No cheating or you will automatically get an F along with detention. The person you're copying from will get half of their points from their quiz removed along with detention. Please do your best."

I look slightly up at the teacher almost reaching the end of the test. He really doesnt like us to cheat. Hes always  looking very closely to us. I notice a little sticky note behind Sasori. That wrote,
" what's the answer to question 5? ^_^"

Ehh... how did he get that on him without the teacher noticing?
I look up at the teacher as he's looking down at some papers. I slowly reach in trying to get the sticky note off him when I finally did. My heart was beating so fast while I was going to write down the answer I stop. Is it really worth loosing half my points since we really arent friend's. I hesitate a little writing down the answer in the corner of me eye I see someone standing next to me. I slowly look up to see the teacher standing next to me. I feel so emberrased I smile very small and awkward. I also noticed kids looking at my direction trying to see who was cheating. The teacher takes away my test and says softly but quite angry. "Who sent you this note."

I hesitate to answer, "I was only marking notes."

Teacher: "these are two different hand writings.. I will ask once again. Who sent you this?"

I look down at the floor.

"I don't--"

Sasori: "it was me."

I quickly look up at Sasori and the teacher.

The teacher looks at Sasori who is giving him a cold stare. The teacher takes away his test and sits back down at his desk.

I am so upset I got caught and brought down Sasori too. He's proably angry with me I look at him and then look down.

"Class is over stop where you are and turn over your test. Sasori and ________ stay seated. The rest of you hand in your test and have a great lunch."

I look at Sasori and then at the teacher as everyone else hands in their papers.
....
"You two will have detention after school and during that time you will have to write 2 pages on what brought you to detention and how you wont do it again, also why cheating is so wrong."

I nod
"Yes, sir"  I said with a shaking voice. I never had detention before.

The teacher walks out of class and Sasori burts out laughing. I was supprised and a bit relieved.

"You're not mad?"

Sasori: "no, but you were so scared." Still laughing

"Hey! I got introuble because of you. I shouldn't be laughing."

Sasori: "well I'm sorry, It's  not my fault you dont know how to be sneaky."

"Well excuse me but I'm not the type to pass notes during class if you haven't noticed." My voice sounded bothered.

Sasori: "Right.. I am sorry."

"It's fine." I reach in my backpack and pull out the two notes. I open one of them and its a picture of a pig... I dont say anything and just rip it apart.

I open the other one which reads.

"Sasori doesn't like you don't get your hopes up, ugly!."
I look down and as I was going to rip the note. Sasori stopped me.

Sasori: "What is it?"
Quickly taking the note away from me I look at him blushing slightly.

Sasori: who gave this to you?

"I dont know, it feel out of my locker this morning."

I looked down as he grabbed the note I ripped apart trying to puzzle it.

"..Its a drawing of a pig, with the words tubby..... to save you the time."

He looked at me with the solved puzzle he stands up.
Sasori: "Lets go eat before lunch is over, and dont you dare lie and say you're not hungry ."

I look at him and smile softly. How did he know I was going to say that?.

We sat in silence by the bench eating our lunch..... when the school day
over I stayed in class to write the essay and see Sasori walk out.
I say to myself in a low voice.
"Great, he gets me introuble and he doesn't  stay."
Moments later Sasori walks in with the teacher right behind him.

"Pft." I chuckeld, ditching didnt work..

"You can leave when you finish writing the easay." The teacher announced sitting on his desk.

I finished before Sasori.  Moving my wrist around I hand in my paper.
Slightly bowed and walked out of class. I open my locker door to find another note fall down. After putting my things away I picked it up and opened it. It reads.

"You're not fat 🐷 and you're not ugly. Your looks matches your personality.🌹"

I smiled and blushing brightly. walking out of school I look up to see Sasori staring out the window.. I made my way home smiling for the first time in years
