[ JEON JUNGKOOK ]
Tell me you love me, can't we get together?
There's always this misconception about the world that we live in. There are rules to living, there are rules to loving, and sometimes, you have to break those rules. The concept of being fixed to one soulmate is nothing but a misconception itself.
We're all free to love whomever we want, whenever we want. It's just these stupid boundaries, these stupid rules, these stupid fixed soulmates that stop us from loving. But it's your decision as to whether you want to break the rules, to love whomever you want, whenever you want.
Glitches. I've always hated those who cause glitches pain, and that hatred had sparked the day I stumbled upon Soojung throwing up her beautiful rose petals in the public washroom. But it was confusing. While she was throwing up her love for someone she barely knew, I was waiting for the right time to tell her that her name was starting to sting and brush perfectly onto my skin.
On that day I found out that I was not her soulmate, and that I was bound to hate the person who caused her to be like this.
We're free to love whomever we want, whenever we want.
Yeri was none other than a free-living being, who had multiple names showing up and disappearing on her wrist. She's never tasted or felt the feeling of love, for her soulmates would always come and go. However, she's still waiting to see when the first tattooed name on her wrist will remain there forever.
On the other hand, Hoseok, he was none other than a glitch as well, but just recently, a timer appeared on his tender skin and hasn't been leaving the house because of how painful the tattoo felt. He's fallen in love with a man named Yoongi, a frat boy who ran parties, but he had already met his soulmate, and it wasn't Hoseok. Thus, Hoseok has spent the last few months recovering from his surgery, and surprisingly enough, a timer counting down to the day he meets his new soulmate appears on his wrist.
With these two being the only ones who understand me, their stories give me hope that someday, maybe my name will somehow show up on Soojung's wrist, just like how her name shows up on mine.
Her name rings through the phone and I snap out of my trance. I could hear her smile on the other side of the line. She yawns softly, and I gasp slightly.
"Did I wake you up?" I ask worriedly and she lets out a soft chuckle.
"No, I'm just really tired. What's up?" She says and I look out the window, a small smile beginning to form on my lips.
"Are you free right now?"
"No. Why?" She questions.
"Can I see you?"
"Are you okay?" Soojung laughs. "You sound like a prince trying to ask his princess out on a date. Can I see you?"
"Stop mocking me," I laugh. "But really, can I see you right now? I want to show you something."
"I don't know, should I?" She teases. "You tell me."
"Yah, do you really want to see something that I just discovered?"
"Fine, fine, I'm coming, geez. Relax, Jeon."
