Monster

Kill without mercy. Move swiftly quietly and most importantly move fast. All of the things I was taught come back to me while I stand predator over the man who begged for his death after seeing my true face. My monstrous face.

"What are you? Why are you doing this?" He cried out just before taking his last gasp of air before too much blood escaped his body. No one who sees the face that I was born with, is allowed to live. I have known this since I could understand the meaning behind words.

"You would have done the same thing to me if I had let you live" I whispered. My words falling on ears that would no longer hear. The blood of this man, Martin Lestrange, called out to me willing me to taste it before all of it flowed from his body. Normally controlling this animalistic side wouldn't be a problem but one little taste couldn't hurt.

As I finished off my dinner I felt my back pocket vibrating, My cell phone ringing loud and echoing around the empty house.

"Is it done" The distorted voice on the other side said. Somehow people always seem to underestimate my abilities.

"It is. I suspect you upheld your end of the deal" I answered. I noticed my voice changed into something darker after I fed.

"100,000 has been wired to the account you provided me with. Don't call this phone again" And with a click the call dropped and within a few seconds my mess was clean and I returned back to the only home I knew.

The best part about moving so fast that no one sees you is the exactly that. Staying hidden, cloaked under the nights sky. The lights fading away almost as fast as I saw them. Minutes later I arrived to what was once the home to a beautiful family. My family until they were taken away from me ripped from my hands and I couldn't do a thing at the time. Now the people that took my family would pay for their mistake.
