The final bell goes off indicating the end of school hours. I get up from my seat and pack my stuff. I grab my backpack and leave the classroom and make my way towards my locker. I always have my last lesson on Tuesdays by myself.
As I walk closer to my locker, I see the boys all huddled up next to it. I give them a look saying 'get out of the way' and they do. I open my locker and replace my current books with the books I need for homework.
Once I'm done, I shut my locker and turn around to face the boys. "So what's the plan?" I ask.
"Well," Zack says, "we're gonna carry out what we thought of in the morning."
"Alright," Alex says. "So therefore, you're Dylan and Josh's responsibility now." He looks at Josh and Dylan, "you better make sure she's okay."
I roll my eyes, "I'm not six, Alex, I'm seventeen and I can take care of myself."
"Sure," Alex says which earns him a heated glare from me.
"So I'll see you guys tomorrow?" Brian asks. "My mom's waiting outside."
"Alright man," Josh says. They do their bro-hug (yes, that's what I like to call it) and I just wave because I'm too awkward. Brian just laughs at me and then catches me off guard when he gives me a brief hug too, and then he walks away.
"Okay," Alex says, "we should go too. Coach is gonna kill us if we're late."
"Alright," I say, "we'll see you guys tomorrow, then."
"Yup," Zack smiles and gives me a brief hug too and walks away with Alex. What is up with them giving out hugs?
"No fair," Josh says as I turn around. "He didn't give me a hug at all." He pouts.
"Grow up, you big baby," I say, smacking him lightly on his arm.
"Ouch, that hurt," he says in a high pitched voice making me snort. "OUCH!" Josh smacks Dylan's hand.
"I didn't do anything," Dylan says, raising his hands in surrender and starts walking away.
"He just pinched me!" Josh tells me.
