Happy fourth of July to my fellow Americans! I didn't get any watermelon. I'm quite upset over this. Anyway, leave a comment telling me your thoughts (whether to they relate to the story or not). You could tell me you want a cookie if you want. I want a cookie now... Okay, no more rambling Shelby! Get on with the chapter!
PEACESKIES! xx Shel
“Kora? Love, come on.”
My eyelids fluttered open at the sound of Niall’s voice. I looked around and realized I had fallen asleep in Liam’s room with all the boys and Danielle still awake. I sat up, rubbing my eyes. “Crud. I’m sorry.” I yawned and apologized again.
“Don’t be sorry.” Dani said, patting my hair.
“Here.” Niall scooped me up in his arms. “You’re staying in my room so you can go sleep there.”
I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my head against his shoulder, my eyes closing again. “M’kay…”
Everyone murmured a goodbye to me as Niall carried me out the door. We went a little ways down the hallway before he shifted me in his arms and opened another door. Niall placed me on the bed and covered me up, kissing my forehead before he turned to leave.
I grabbed his hand, refusing to let him go. “Stay.”
His smile lit up his eyes as he crawled into bed beside me, his arms quickly finding their way around me when I scooted over and laid my head on his chest.
“I don’t know why I’m so tired,” I mumbled before a yawn overtook me.
He chuckled, slipping his snapback off my head so he could run his fingers through my hair. “You just missed sharing a bed with me and didn’t sleep as well without me.”
A small smile tugged at my lips. “You’re actually a hundred percent correct.”
“I missed you, too.” I felt his lips press against the top of my head. “Go to sleep, love. I’ll be here when you wake up.”
That was all the encouragement it took for me to doze off.
My eyelids slowly opened a little while later, the world easing into focus.
“Hey there, sleeping beauty,” an Irish accent whispered in my ear.
I smiled up at Niall. “Does that make you prince charming?”
“Of course! How did you sleep?”
I ran a hand over my face, trying to wipe away the sleepiness. “A lot better than I usually do.”
“I’m glad.” Niall smiled at me before he sat up and seemed to remember something. “Oh, I have something for you.”
I also sat up, watching as Niall fumbled through a duffle bag in the corner. “What is it?”
“Technically, Paul got it , but here.” Niall handed me a small box he pulled out of the bag.
I grinned at him before tearing open the box and looking inside. Staring back at me was a white iPhone 4 with a case that had the skyline of the city of London on it. I smiled at the phone but then my brow furrowed.
“Why?” I asked, pursing my lips.
“I told him about how your mom took your phone and iPod and laptop. He said you needed one so we didn’t lose you on tour.”
My head shot up. “I’m going back on tour with you guys?”
“I told you I was getting you out of here, didn’t I?”
