Here are the reviews for the March Competition!
But first, a few notes first.
I'm not sure if you noticed (she'd like to think you did), but Miranda is no longer with the team. She got a fabulous new job that steals her away from us all and so she's unable to spend the time required for these competitions and reviews.
Any who was judged by her this month, know that any points (we have a trusty notebook for such things) that she previously added to determine the winner of this months' competition has long been deducted. Any reviews written by her are now erased, though her comments remain, of course. Obviously we do this to make it fair for all competitors.
Please remember to look at the end for the favorites of my team EXCLUDING the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Who knows, your book might be there!
The WTFavorites are explained below as well.
NOW HERE ARE THE WINNERS!
FIRST PLACE WINNER IS:
Stone Sacrifice (Book 1 of the Chronicles of Grey)
Written by: bowrinj
"I haven't read characters that come to life so well in a long time. The book is finished, yet I continue to dream about the 'after'! The world of Nahdeira truly came to life in this story. Very, very well done!"
"From the big picture to the tiny details, this book keeps you hooked from beginning to end. It has everything from mystery and adventure to horror and romance with not a single drop too much of any of it.
Read this book. You will not regret it."
SECOND PLACE WINNER IS:
Written by: Lucifer646
"Other than descriptive detail, I can think of nothing to add to this book. It's simply an excellent read from the first word to the last."
"If you like shows and books similar to CSI and Criminal Minds, you will love this book without a doubt. When this is finished, I would be incredibly surprised if it wasn't immediately snatched up in publishing, even with the lack of descriptive details."
THIRD PLACE WINNER IS:
Cross Roads: The Monsters Among Us
Written by: btinovels
"Brr! Shivers through every bit of this book. I'm not even going to bother complimenting everything or I'd be typing forever. Just read it!"
"The way it's written vaguely reminds me of Stephen King; building characters quickly and throwing the unexpected at us expertly. Well done!"
GO AHEAD AND GET YOUR STICKERS!
Now for the others that weren't so lucky.
These are written in no particular order.
