You dropped your book, jumping about a mile into the air as a loud beeping split the silence in your house. Heart racing, you sprinted into the kitchen. You'd completely forgotten about the cookies you were baking, but thankfully you hadn't forgotten to set the timer. You had just opened the oven when there was a knock at the door. With a sigh, you closed the oven again and strode towards your door.

You instinctively smoothed your hair back, blushing. "N-Netherlands! I - er - what are you up to?"
"I came to see you."
"I can see that," you teased. "Why'd you want to see me?"
"I . . . have something to ask you."
You smiled. "What?"
"Are you seeing someone?"
"As in dating?" You frowned. "No, I'm not."
Your eyes narrowed in confusion, but he leaned forward and kissed your lips, wiping thoughts of any kind from your mind.
"Um . . ." You blushed brilliantly when he pulled back. "Okay. Yes, I'll go out with you, and . . . I like you an awful lot."
"I like you too." He paused, sniffing the air. "Are you burning something?"
