I am a cricket.
I am a bottom-of-the-food-chain-cricket.
Down here, we eat plants
because there are no animals nor insects nor bugs in general below us to eat.
We take what we can get.We try oh so hard to climb up the ladder,
to get just a little bit higher,
just a little bit mightier,
on this thing called life.
And it's hard.
It hurts when you're almost at the top and you get pushed back to the ground. It hurts a lot.But what hurts the most
is remembering how you fell in the first place.I used to be a Jaguar; high and mighty,
and now I am a cricket.
