"I now pronounce you husband and husband." The priest announced.

Mike slid his hand through my hair and pulled me close. "I love you."

My cheeks burned and I smiled tenderly at my love. "I love you too."

Our hands intertwined and his lips pressed against mine. For a second, all my troubles had faded away. Everything in this moment was perfect.

The whole world stopped for us, then I heard that damned alarm.

I jolted awake, only to find our "love story" was just a figment in my mind.

It was just a dream, and we're not married. I'm married to Adrienne and Mike's married with Brittney.

I looked over, Adie was still asleep and I slammed my Palm on the alarm.

"Thanks for ruining my pretending." I whispered angrily.

It was Saturday, my day off.  I hadn't shaved in a while. My hair wasn't done, and my eyes were tired.

I sat at the edge of my bed and rubbed my eyes.

I slipped on my slippers and walked to the bathroom.

I turned on the light and closed the door behind me.

The sticky note on the mirror annoyed me, so I tore it down and threw it on the floor.

My eyes closed and I stood there breathing, still waking up.

Once I had brushed my teeth, I walked to the kitchen and stuffed two waffles in the toaster.

I laid on the couch and turned on the tv.

Channel 11 news was on, and they were talking about checking your kids phones all the time.

I flipped through the channels, not even paying attention until re-runs it criminal minds showed up.

I shrugged and the toaster dinged. I got my waffles and a bottle of water along with the tub of peanut butter.

Mornings like these are the good mornings. Where you don't have anything to worry about, all you do is watch your favorite shows and eat peanut butter with your fingers.

Then, my phone vibrated from our room.

I walked over and walked back with my blanket.

I checked the notification, and of course it was Tré.

T: morning neighborino

B: how's your diddly darn day going

T: cool. wanna go to the movies later?

B: yeah I'll call mike.

T: okay.

B: okkkkkkkkkkkkkk

T: you seem tired

B: very much so

I exited out of our chat and dialed Mike's number.

The phone rang a couple of times and a groggy Mike answered.

"Hey. What- what time is it?" He groaned and shifted in his bed.

I checked the time on the tv, it was seven, I told him.

"Why- why are you calling me in the morning?"

"Tré wants to go out today, wanna come?"

Mike sighed and smacked his lips.

"Yeah. What time?"

"Hold up."

I texted Tré, since he was the planner in this whole thing.

B: yo what time do you want us and where?

T: meet at jingletown recording at 9.

B: ok

"He said jingletown at 9."

"Okay. Want me to pick you up?"

"Yeah. I think Adie is going somewhere today, so I'll let her take my car."

"Okay I'll be there in 30."

"Okie" He hung up and i finished my peanut butter waffles.

I showered, and dried my hair.

The plain white shirt hadn't been used in a while, so I threw that on and a hoodie over it.

I put on black jeans and bumped into the dresser.

"Billie?" Adie sat up in the bed and yawned.

"Where you going, babe?" She asked.

I smiled to her and walked to her side, kissing her good morning.

"The boys want to go to the movies later, we wanted to hang out today."

She smiled, and got up.

"Okay. I was gonna go to my brother's for a while, anyway."

Fireworks went off in my head.

I finished putting my pants on, and not on my red hightop converse.

"Mike's picking me up, so you can take my car."

Adie nodded, as she threw on my old KISS shirt.

"I'll be leaving by 2. Have fun, baby." She kissed me goodbye as I gathered my things.

Mike honked outside and I walked out. Adie gave me one last kiss, and waved to Mike as we drove away.

I really like this how it's going. I love the intro wedding thing. I'm just so - gay.
