Amanda - Hey, what were you trying to tell me earlier at my locker?
Sandra - I was going to say that a little birdie told me Josh Harris likes you
Amanda - Really?
Sandra - Yeah, Alexis Moore told me
Amanda - How does she know?
Sandra - Well there was a whole story going around school last week
Amanda - What story?
Sandra - Can't it wait till this afternoon?
Amanda - No...
Sandra - Fine :) Last week Josh was going out with Lucy Barnes. They apparently had been going out for only a month, because Josh's friend didn't know. Lucy found out about this and totally went crazy. She said that his friends were supposed to know they were dating so they wouldn't hook him up with someone else.
Amanda - I never thought Lucy was so dramatic
Sandra - Well recently (ever since she started dating Josh) she's been real paranoid and crazy.
Amanda - I guess that explains why her grades are dropping in English. She's never there because she's with Josh
Sandra - Yeah, exactly. So she got mad and told him that he was supposed to tell everyone that they were dating. Well, Josh got really mad at Lucy for trying to force him to tell everyone, that he invited all of Lucy's closest friends and his friends to a major party at his house and told EVERYONE that he was dumping her
Amanda - What did she do after that? I mean, don't you think that's a little harsh?
Sandra - She took it like nothing was wrong. What I mean is, she was mad, but didn't try to get back at him. She just picked up her stuff and left.
Amanda - So they were just done, and that was it? What does that have to do with knowing that he likes me?
Sandra - BECAUSE after everyone left one of his friends came up to him and asked him why he dumped her. He said it was because he didn't like her, but then Alexis came back to get her purse. She heard him say that he also dumped her because he liked someone else
Amanda - And that person he likes is me?
Sandra - So I've heard
Amanda - Is he going to ask me out...?
Sandra - That is for me to know, and you to find out!
Amanda - Sandra please! I want to be prepared if he asks me out!
Sandra - Whoops! Gotta go!
Amanda - Sandra NO!
