The window springs open with a furious shriek,
in creeps a form of something voluptuously antique.
A shadow or a nightmare?
the bloody vampiress drawn to my nape.
I have been chosen to attend the fair,
the wretched communion of forbidden escape.
Drawn to the woodlands where witches once danced,
in likeness to our lady, in seductive nightmares entranced.
The ceremony of darkness has begun,
we sacrifice our innocence to honor our midnight queen.
Delightful fetishes brought to life and chaos undone,
forever possessed by the vampiric gene.
In the shroud of nightfall she came for me,
poisoning my essence with her spiteful glee.
