Wreaked.

That was the best word to describe how Jungkook felt.

He just wanted to sleep. He just wanted to forget he had a job as a superhero and relax for just once. But he knew he couldn't do that. He was too good to forget about all the people he wished to help. His morals wouldn't drop low enough for him not to be a hero. But to him, he shouldn't count as a hero. He just helped people. Being a hero was just an occupation that basically anyone could have, but for some reason people thought he was amazing. He didn't believe in himself anymore then the next person, but people believed in him, so he had to keep going.

Jungkook was just about to flop on his couch when his stomach churned.

"Shit." He ran to his open window, limbs aching from his previous fight, and looked around, trying to find where something bad would happen. He did not expect someone to lunge at him from his window with a knife pointed right at his heart out of nowhere.

"Wha!" Jungkook leaned backwards on instinct and fell on his back, the person flying forward and rolling.

"No need to use powers, let's just play fair." The person calmly got back up, seemingly looking inconspicuous.

"What the hell are you doing?! Go away before I have to turn you in, I'm giving you one chance." Jungkook stood up and held his ground, voice rough and tired. They circled each other.

"No can do. You're my assignment, and I don't prefer to fail."

"Well this is my home, and I really want to sleep, so get out before I have to turn you in." He was now upset at this encounter. He just really wanted to sleep. He took a step forward.

"I don't want to make such a big deal about it okay? Just, don't struggle and we'll be fine." Jungkook could tell this masked figure was trying to sweet talk him. It wasn't working.

"Get out. Last warning." Jungkook got into a martial arts stance, getting ready to prepare to fight. But he didn't expect the figure to run at him and suddenly disappear. He knew immediately that it was sight manipulation, having had many months of training with mind powers. It was a strong power. He closed his eyes trying to hear where his attacker was.

But that's when the gust of wind hit them both, making them fly in opposite directions. Jungkook was flown back into his bookshelf which cracked under the weight, and he barely had time to see his attacker in all black fly out of the window. He heard many things that broke. And the last thing he saw was books all around him before blacking out.

Jungkook woke up in a hospital bed. He could hear some people talking quietly around him, so he decided to pretend to be asleep and listen to what they were saying. Like a normal person would.

"I told you to go with him to make sure he was okay yesterday. I knew after his mission he was dead on his feet, you should've covered for him, then he would've been home sooner."

"You know I couldn't have done that. Jungkook wouldn't let me for one, and also I was covering or someone else. Maybe you should've?"

The first one sighed. "Yeah. Maybe we should stop blaming ourselves and think about the situation more. The Gust hasn't happened in so long...I wonder why it happened now? With the anniversaries and stuff. And with a villain? This must be bad..."

"Ya! Of course it's bad!" The second whispered loudly...Jungkook knew he knew these voices, but he was so out of it he couldn't place them. He couldn't even remember what they were talking about. "The Gust hasn't happened in centuries. We're very unlucky...but that's our job isn't it? To be the unlucky ones so others don't have to be?"
