''Can I break his nose?''

''No.''

''Just a little? Like quick punch and then my hands are off him.''

''The answer is no.''

Amaya was silently listening to the begging of Nathaniel. If the situation was any different, she'd have found the whole conversation quiet funny – Trick being his usual self with casting the look of a pup begging their parent, and Gadiel being completely emotionless with hardly even glancing at him or moving his gaze from the wall.

All three of them were sitting in the hallway of the dungeons. While two of them looked rather excited to kill the man who was held within the room with the King, probably tied down and forbidden to use any kind of magic, Amaya was terrified to her core.

Even her Wolf kept her emotions closed, probably feeling the same way.

Whenever Amaya tried to look toward the door of the dungeon, she'd feel like the lighting stroke her core, and thunders roared inside of her mind. The pale coat over her slightly trembling lips was speaking more of her emotions than any of her actions ever could. She squeezed the hard bench beneath her.

There were so many nights when she'd imagined facing her monster.

Sometimes she imagined running away, hiding in a closet like a pup, to protect herself from finally seeing his face.

And sometimes, she imagines screaming at him, punching the life out of him, and killing him herself just so she could bring some kind of justice to her case.
