Dinah's POV

Flashback

"Just leave, Y/N," I yelled at her.

"Dinah-"

"Get out. I don't have time nor patience to sit here and have you lie to me."

"Dinah, I'm not lying. Just lis-"

"Y/N, get all of your shit and leave."

"Fine," she said walking past me to our shared bedroom. I sat on the sofa and ran my fingers through my hair. Y/N came back downstairs with her clothes in a suitcase.

"I'll be back for the rest," she said quietly, "ohh, pick up the kids from your mother's."

"I will," I answered back. She sighed and walked out of the door.

It had been eight months since Y/N moved out. She would come get the kids whenever she was off and on the weekends. I missed her, but I couldn't tell her. I had fucked up so bad. There was no way that she could want me back.

"Mama... mama," Neveah said while poking my face.

"Yes, baby?" I asked her and pulled her towards me, so I could cuddle with her.

"Jus' wan' cuddles," she mumbled into my chest, falling back asleep. Carson was laying on the other side of me and he was knocked out. He had kicked his pants off and only had one sock on. They were tired because Y/N took them on a picnic at the park today before she had to go to work. My phone started ringing, so I answered it.

"Hey, Dinah. Do you mind if I crash at the house? I'm way too tired to be driving all the way across town," Y/N said into the phone. You could hear how sleepy she was in her voice.

"Yeah, of course," I replied.

"Okay, I'm pulling into the driveway," she said and hung up. I carefully laid Neveah in the bed, so she wouldn't wake up. I got up, went downstairs and opened the door for Y/N. She was looking mighty fine. I felt myself staring at her, so I immediately looked down at the ground. I ushered her in, closed the door and locked it behind her.

"You still have clothes here, so you can shower and get out of your work clothes," I said walking up the stairs to my room with her following behind me. I went through one of the drawers and pulled out some of Y/N's clothes and handed it to her.

"Everything is still the same, so there's no need for tutorials," I said playfully giving her a small smile. She smiled back and went into the bathroom. I got back in the bed and accidentally woke Carson up. He pouted and crawled over to me. I scooped him up and gently rocked him back to sleep. He looked up at me and smiled. It took a while for him to fall asleep. A few minutes after he fell asleep, Y/N came out of the bathroom and was about to leave the room.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To go lay on the sofa," She replied.

"Get in the bed, Y/N. I don't need you falling asleep while going down the stairs again," I reminded her.

"That only happened once," She said going to the other side of the bed. Y/N woke Neveah up accidentally and Neveah started whining. She immediately stopped when she saw Y/N. Neveah was definitely a mommy's girl and Carson was a mama's boy.

"Mommy is sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up, baby," Y/N said softly and pulled our daughter into her arms. After about three minutes, Neveah was out like a light in Y/N's arms.

"Turn the light off and go to sleep, Dinah," Y/N mumbled while falling asleep. I carefully turned the light and let sleep take over my body.

"Mama... mama, wake up. Mommy cook food," I heard Neaveah say while smacking my face. I groaned and opened my eyes.

"What time is it?" I asked no one particularly.

"I no know," Neveah said cutely and shrugged her shoulders, " 'ome on, mama. I 'ungry."

"Can mama go to the bathroom first?" I asked her.

"You do 'hat aftor," she replied attempting to pull me out of the bed. I got up, threw my little princess over my shoulder and walked downstairs. I helped Neveah into her chair and saw Carson falling asleep in his chair. I took him out and held him.

"Why are you so sleepy?" I asked as he fell asleep in my arms.

"He kept waking up last night, so we came down here to watch some tv. He fell asleep about an hour ago," Y/N explained putting a plate full of food down in front of me.

"What do you think could be wrong?" I asked her.

"He's having nightmares. You should feed him and then let him sleep," she replied and I nodded in agreement. She handed me a jar of baby food and a small dish with food on it. I gently shook Carson and his eyes slowly opened.

"Can you eat something for mama and then go back to sleep?" I asked him and received a blank stare. I chuckled and sat him up a bit. I fed him and myself. He was halfway done eating and fell asleep. I wiped his mouth, put him in a more comfortable position and finished eating my food. Once he started snoring, I knew he was going to be knocked out for the next few hours. After we finished eating, Lauren, Mani and Ally busy through the door like the damn police. Good thing they didn't wake up Carson or scare Neveah because I would've been pissed.

" 'untie Maniiii," Neveah squealed as she saw Normani.

"What about us?" Ally said pouting.

"Hi, 'unt Ally. I mish you," she said sweetly holding her arms up, so she could be picked up. Normani scooped her up and attacked her with kisses.

"So... what's going on here?" Lauren asked with a smirk on her face. I rolled my eyes at her.

"We just finished eating breakfast," I said staring the obvious.

"What's Y/N/N doing here?" Normani asked.

"She slept over because she was too tired to drive across town. Last thing right now is my children's mother badly injured."

"Hi, girls. It's been a while since I've seen you," Y/N said coming into the living room. They all greeted each other with hugs. They all took seats.

"How's everything been?" Y/N asked them.

"It's been great. Can't really complain about anything. I miss Texas though. I need me some Tex-Mex food asap," Ally said. They continued to talk and I just looked at Y/N the whole time.

"Well, I have to get going. I have some meetings to get to," Y/N said, " Neveah, come give me my kisses."

Neveah ran over to her mother and planted kisses all over her face. Y/N chuckled and pecked Neveah's lips. Y/N got up, gave the girls hugs and made her way over to me. She gave Carson a kiss on the forehead and gave me one on the cheek. I didn't want her to leave, but I couldn't bring myself to ask her to stay.

"Bye, ladies and Carson. I'll see you Friday," Y/N said while walking out the door. We made eye contact, but broke it when Neveah ran up to her asking for another kisses. Y/N chuckled and bent down to peck the little one's lips.

"Bye-bye, Mommy. I wuv you. Be safely," Neveah said as she waved by to her mother. She closed the door and Y/N locked it from the other side. Neveah ran back over to Normani and they started playing with her toys.

"You're still in love with her, aren't you?" Lauren said.

"Deeply."
