Rose grinned when she saw all five of them coming to greet her.

"Gah! The hottest doctors in Thailand! It's great to see you all together still and looking so great. How is Yo? I heard you knocked him up." Beam and Kit both choked and started laughing as the other new staff just looked on in mild horror.

She was not only loud in her greeting but she had leaped at all five of them. Pha and Sing were currently holding her, having saved her from a face first collision with the floor.

"Get off so I can show you the pictures." Pha said as he put her down gently.

"Awesome. And where is my wedding invitation?" She turned on Rend with hard eyes and a wagging finger.

"I didn't know where you were so I just posted it out into the world and hoped it would find you." Rend batted his eyes at her and tried to look innocent. There was more than enough room for her to attend. Some invitees had RSVP with a decline due of prior engagements. A cousin had told him in his face that her birthday was that week and she was going to Tahiti.

"That was a slick answer buddy. Did you know I was at all these other fools weddings? I was studying in the Us with Kit and I was back here when the others did it. Then I was off to the US again and now I'm back for good."

"Great. We have room for you. I knew we were missing someone." She grinned, satisfied, then turned to Pha who handed her his phone. She squealed and cooed over Win's pictures then demanded to see Sky and Violet. She turned to Kit expectantly so he whipped out his phone and showed her Mick and Aria. She looked at Rend who smiled.

"Not yet but soon ok you crazy monkey. So how have you been?"

"There. You know. Same old, same old." Rose had still been dating her university boyfriend long distance when he had suddenly died of an aneurysm. She had taken it hard and dropped out of school for a year then came back with the decision to be a neurologist. It had taken her a while and some lean moments but she had made it.

"Better than lost and devastated beyond repair," Kit muttered and sighed.

"Well it was touch and go there for the first couple of years. My decision to go back to school helped. Who are we talking about?"

"A family member, don't worry about it. So, we sort of ran away to come see you because technically Rend should be the only one of us here. I gotta go. Have an appointment in about five minutes. Come see me anytime."

"Personally or professionally?" She called after Beam's retreating back.

"Both," He said with a wave and was gone. Sing and Pha looked at each other and sighed. They should head back too, especially Sing. You never k_ Both their pagers went off and they rushed out with a wave as well.

Rose turned to Rend and Kit.

"They'll tell us if they need us." Rend said and looked at Kit. He shrugged because he was off that day and had only come in to see Rose. Rend was off too but he was on call and that meant he was never really off.

"Oh, you know what?" Kit suddenly started. "Family dinner on Sunday barring any emergencies. Come over."

"Oh awesome thanks. Cause I haven't really seen anyone since I've been back. It will be nice. Just, no blind dates ok. I get plenty of that from family."

"Oh no. Ah no. I suck at that kind of thing anyway." The conversation was cut short as the rest of the department started in. They greeted Kit but it was obvious most of them didn't know him outside of the hospital except one.
