Chapter 30: April Fools

"You're so mean!" My best friend Victoria said over the phone.

"Haha! But it will be perfect!" I said jumping up and down.

We were gonna prank him with a fake pregnancy test.

We met up at the joker store and got everything we needed, which was the test and fake puke.

We drove back home and set everything up while Zach was asleep.

We put the fake puke in the toilet and messed up my hair to make it look like I was sick.

I put the test on the sink and sat on the floor near the toilet.

"Ok, ready!" I signaled Vic.

She hid in the corner behind the tv with the camera, ready to record it.

She gave me a thumbs up and started the video.

"UHHHHH!" I fake puke.

It woke Zach up and he came running to the bathroom.

"Becky, what's wrong?" He asked helping me sit up.

"Oh, nothing..." I trailed off quickly grabbing the test off the sink, making him suspicious.

"What's that?" He asked.

"Nothing. It's a-a... Umm... M-my toothbrush?" I stuttered.

"Bullshit. Now give it to me!" He said grabbing it from behind my back.

He took one glare at it and his eyes widened with his chin down in surprise.

"Oh my God."

"Are you ok?"

"Is this my-"

"Yes, Zach. It's your baby."

"B-but... We never... Well except for... We had protection... Did it brake?..." He mumbled to himself.

"Zach, wanna know something else?..." I asked.

"Huh?... Oh, umm sure..." He said snapping out of his thoughts.

I showed him my phone which had the date "April 1st, 2014" on it.

It took him a while to understand and when he did, he threw the test away and gave me a smirk.

"You little bitch!" He said picking me up and carrying me to our room.

He threw me on the bed and hovered over me.

He leaned in for a long kiss which I gladly accepted.

He moved his lips down to my neck and that's when I realized Vic was still recording.

"Uh, uh, uh!" I said waving my finger in his face.

I pointed to Vic who was laughing crazily.

He got up and walked over to Vic and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"D-did you record... That...?" He asked.

"Yup!" She said handing me the camera.

"I'll leave you two to have fun... Don't have too much fun!" She warned us.

She grabbed all her stuff and hugged me before leaving.

"I bought you two condoms, in case it really does happen. It's in the cabinet under the sink." She whispered in my ear before letting go of the hug.

I laughed and playfully hit her arm.

"Thanks, mommy." I said closing the door after her.

Zach and I sat down on the couch and turned on Netflix.

I put 6teen on and I laid my head on Zach's chest.

"Becky, I have a question." He said pausing the show.

"Ok." I said sitting up to face him.

"In the future, would you want children?" He asked.

"Of course! I love children!"

"How many?"

"Maybe like a small army..."

"Really?" He laughed.

"No, just kidding. I want two. A girl and a boy."

"What would their names be?"

"Adam and Eve." I joked again.

"Seriously?"

"Haha. Nope. I really like the name Levi. But that's the puppies name."

"What about... Carson?"

"Ooh! I like that name!"

"And for the girl?"

"Taken."

"What?"

"So when she meets a boy, she would say 'Hi! I'm Taken!"

"Hahaha. But really, what about..."

"Catherine?"

"Perfect!"

"Just like you!"

I gave him a kiss and I realized I didn't have my bracelet on.

But there was no sparks!

What?

"Honey..." I said tapping him.

"Yeah?" He replied.

"There was no spark."

"Don't worry I have my-" He stopped talking in disbelief when he looked at his naked arm.

"Oh my gosh!" I panicked.

I tried teleporting but nothing happened.

"MY POWERS AREN'T WORKING!" I yelled.

"Let's try it together!" He said grabbing my hand.

We teleported to our bed- WAIT HOLD UP!

THIS IS NOT OUR BEDROOM!

"Where are we?" I asked Zach who was still holding onto my hand.

"I don't know." He said.

"Let go back-" something sharp hit me.

I fell to the ground in pain.

"BECKY!" Zach said bending down next to me.

I started to drift off until someone bent over me with a huge stupid smirk on their face.

"Aurielis?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yup! You're not the only two with powers. I do. And so does my boyfriend." She said pointing to a dark figure that was getting closer.

He went over to Zach and punched him in the face causing him to fall on the ground.

"NO!" I yelled trying to get up.

My body was numb and I couldn't feel anything.

"Say goodbye to him." The boy said leaning over me.

"Jacob?" I whispered.

*BLACKOUT*
