1 Garrison

It was the night of the grand re-opening of the Garrison after is recent demise of being blown up by Fenians. The whole gang were crammed into the pub dancing, singing and most of all, drinking.

Arthur was pulling pints at double speed after already done a line of snow before the opening; John was singing in the background with some of the lads and Finn was wandering around somewhere; even Ada had came all the way up from London for the celebration, she was greeting the family here and there, Polly by the bar with a cigarette in one hand and a glass of whiskey in the other; Tommy arrived late as usual however it made no difference to the bubbly, intoxicating fun atmosphere inside the pub; and finally Diana was dancing with some of the Peaky boys and downing shots of gin, celebrating the Peaky Blinders recent achievement of the Blinders joining forces with a Jewish gang in London, controlled by Alfie Solomons, any opportunity to compete with the lads when they're drinking she'd take it, and as per usual, she'd win.

As soon as Tommy stepped into the pub he made eye contact with Diana, mentally beckoning her over so he could talk to her. Diana had recently provided information to Tommy about Polly's children, Anna and Michael, who had been taken away from her before the war and to never be seen again by the family; Diana had never met the two seeing as though she was around the same age as Michael was she was probably busy with Jonny-dogs and the Lee family; Diana was eerily good at getting information about almost anything, Tommy needed a person locating, or anything of the sort, he'd go straight to her without hesitation. The whole family trusted Diana and they had the right to, Diana saw the Shelby's as her brothers so she'd do anything for them.

Tommy asked Diana if she could find out if the children were still alive and if so where they were. It wasn't too difficult to get their files from the police station, however when she did, it wasn't what she was hoping for. Anna Gray had died, Polly would never get to reunite with her daughter and that made Diana's heart break for the woman she cared for like a mother. On the plus side however, Michael was still alive, located in some countryside town with an alternative name of Henry. She gave the information to Tommy who soon went on his way, to visit the boy no doubt.
