*One month later*
"Calum, I swear to god, I will leave right now and I won't come back." Maddy threatens, glaring hard at him. His features soften slightly and he takes a step back.
"N-no you wouldn't." He replies shakily. Maddy knew she wouldn't, but she needed to stand her ground. This fight - unnecessary fight by the way - had been going on for way too long and she was sick of it. Both of them hated fighting with each other more than anything, but neither of them wanted to back down.
"You and I both know I would." She snarls, walking past him out of his room and to the front door. Hot tears start pouring down her face as she reaches the front door, realizing he isn't going to stop her.
"God, Mads stop." Calum mumbles from behind her before she could close the door. "Please come back inside." She lets out a quiet sigh, turning back around to face him and walking back inside before closing the door back. They stare at each other silently for a moment before she grabs his cheeks and pushes their lips together. He immediately responds, grabbing her hips and pulls her towards him. "I'm sorry." He whispers against her lips, picking her up, making her wrap her legs around his waist.
"I forgot... what we were... even fighting... about." She says inbetween kisses as Calum carrys them back to his room. "But I'm sorry." He lays her down on his bed, pressing his lips to her sweet spot - now that he knew exactly where it is - making her hands run through his dark hair. He pulls back, after kissing the mark he made lightly and Maddy starts pulling up his shirt.
"Wait, Mads." He places his hands on hers, stopping her from pulling them up.
"What's wrong?" She looks at him worriedly, thinking she did something wrong.
"No you didn't do anything, I just - I can't go on with this anymore with-"
"What?" Maddy releases her hands from his, tears welling in her eyes once again.
"No, no no no no," he chants, wiping the single tear that had escaped her eye, "I meant, I don't want to continue whatever we're doing, like we're doing it. I want you to be mine." Her eyes widen slightly and she just barely smiles. He sighs, running a hand over his face. "I haven't exactly done this in a while, but, will you be my girlfriend, Mads?" She nods quickly, smiling widely.
"What a stupid question," she laughs, "of course I will, Cal." She pecks his lips lightly. "Now can I take your shirt off?" She nods toward his shirt an he laughs, pulling it off and tossing it somewhere before attaching their lips once again.
Okay, that was the last chapter of Midnight. Hope you all enjoyed it :).
