I couldn't believe it. Not only did Percy kiss me off camera, but he kissed me on camera too!

When the girl with the camera, who I learned was named Rachel, turned on the music, had me lean back against a wall, and had Percy stand across from me, I didn't know what to expect. I was just told to act... Well... Like I loved Percy, but was playing hard to get...

Getting told to act like I was in love with my favorite Youtuber and singer of all time... It was awkward for me.

Rachel said action, and Percy strode across the hallway toward me. I didn't pay attention to the song, tried to ignore the recording camera, and focused on Percy.

He leaned against the wall, hovering over me, a hand on the wall. I looked down, away, towards Rachel without actually looking at the camera. I may not have been good with singing in front of people, but I can act.

Percy used his hand to raise my head, a finger under my chin, and he lifted my head up, leaning down to kiss me.

For a second, I was dazed, and let him, but then I remembered my role and turned my head away again, walking away. Percy chased after me.

"Cut!" Rachel called, and I leaned against the wall, blushing.

Somehow, Percy had rented out the high school for this video, so I stood with my back against the lockers, trying my hardest to not smile like an idiot.

"Annabeth," Percy asked. I looked up and smiled. He had apparently just gotten cake in his face. There was a wisp of blue icing on my nose. "If this affects your relationship with your boyfriend-"

I cut him off. "I broke up with him."

"Oh... You did?" He tried to hide the hopeful shine in his eyes, but I saw it. How could I not? His face was suddenly inches from mine... Of course I saw it. "Does that mean that you're..."

"I'm single. Why?" I was playing the perfect coy little princess, and Percy was being turned into a total blustering idiot.

"I... I was w-wondering if... If you uh, maybe wanted to... I... I don't know..." Rachel's voice stopped him.

"Percy, we got a problem." She appeared beside us, and I glared at my feet... He was just about to ask me out.

"What kind of problem?" Percy stood up straight, frowning.

"Some guy named Luke wants to see her." Rachel pointed at me.

Speak of the devil, I thought, and he shall appear...

I looked to Percy. "No. I'm not going out there."

"He says if you don't, he's coming in."

"Percy-"

"Rachel, get Jason and Frank to get rid of him. Annabeth, come on." Percy took my hand and a shiver ran up my spine. I barely saw it, but I noticed Percy snatch Rachel's camera as we started running to the back entrance of the school, where Percy's car was.

He helped me in, before getting in himself and starting the car. Pretty soon, the high school was gone, and they were at a cliff.

"Wow..." i hummed. "Its beautiful..."

He pulled out the camera, and I heard the record button click. I ignored it, moving to get out of the car. Staring adoringly, I walked to the edge of the cliff, and heard Percy get out. He walked over to me, staying back, watching me silently I leaned forward, and smiled. I felt my shirt and jacket ride up my back, and heard Percy choke.

I turned around, suddenly worried, "Whats wrong?"

"I didn't know you had a tattoo..." I blushed.

"Yeah... Ive also got the piercing. Bet you didn't see that coming, huh?"

"I didn't think you were the kind of person who liked that stuff." He seemed relieved.

"It was a dare, originally, from Thalia, but I'm not complaining. Never have." I watched him put the camera down on the hood of the car, still recording. Then he walked over to me, put his arms around my waist, and kissed me.

It was better than before, both times. I smiled and pulled my arms up around his neck, pulling myself closer. I ran my hands through his raven hair and smiled, feeling free for the first time in years, with the sun already setting behind me, my feet at the edge of a cliff, the wind pushing me towards the edge. Percy's arms made me feel safe, warm, happy, welcome... I couldn't have been happier. He broke away.

"Whether Rachel likes it or not, we're so ending with this..." He whispered, and I laughed, smiling happily. "Since I didn't get to actually ask... Will you go on a date with me? Just us? No one else?"

Annabeth smiled and nodded. "I'd love too... Seaweed Brain."
