Dark Water Bay
If you still pretend this illusion,
silence as real as you believe
owns a place in your soul
an empty place to grieve
Echo chamber deep and wide
it hides itself far inside
Would I be mistaken to leave;
journey to my own dark sea
like an unwanted thing
a bird that lost the will to sing?
Cold without a feathered nest
Water is scarce in this test
Path unseen and not well tread
On my own and left for dead
The night I see has blinded our way
Moon shine please on dark water bay!
