Calum's hand runs up Maddy's shirt, making her shiver and giggle. "Cal." She whispers, turning her head to look at him.

"What?" He whines. "This movie is so boring."

"It is not boring." She nudges his side and he laughs, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "Now hush, other people are trying to enjoy the movie."

"Who would be enjoying this?" He jokes, nudging his nose against her cheek.

"Who invited you again?" She asks, turning her head to look at him.

"Um, well, since I was your ride here, and I'm you're ride home, I was indirectly invited." He smiles cheekily down at her and she laughs, turning to face the screen.

"You didn't have to come in. You could've watched a different movie." She shrugs.

"I didn't know it would be a cheesy romance."

"It's called The Fault in Our Stars. What did you expect? And it isn't a cheesy romance." She rolls her eyes with a small smile, looking back at Calum. "Every girl needs a Gus in their life." She smiles, turning back to the screen as Gus declares his love for Hazel.

"Do you have a Gus yet?" He asks warily, looking at her, even though she isn't looking at him.

"I guess I could consider Michael my Gus, but I don't know." She taunts, trying to hold a serious expression. Calum gapes at her and she turns to look at him before giggling at his face. "What?"

"Tell me I'm your Gus, or I'll leave." He playfully threatens.

"You wouldn't leave me." She shrugs.

"And why not?" He laughs quietly.

"Because you're my Gus. And my Gus wouldn't leave me." She cheekily replies. With that, the conversation was over and they watched the rest of the movie in silence.

"Why did that movie end so late?" Calum groans tiredly as the walk out of the theatre, throwing their trash away on the way out.

"Because it started late." She responds hoarsely. Calum turns around abruptly, hearing something wrong in her voice, only to be met with her tear-stained cheeks.

"Mads, babe, are you okay?" He asks quietly. She giggles, nodding her head.

"I'm fine, Cal. It was just the movie." She wipes at her face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't even notice you were crying." He mumbles, wrapping his arms around her. She wraps her arms around his torso, leaning into his chest.

"It's fine. You didn't need to notice." She shrugs before pulling away and kissing his cheek. "But thanks."

"Come on, it's late and there's a guy staring at you." Calum murmurs, pulling on her hand. She turns and notices a tall guy with brown hair staring directly at the two of them as she follows Calum out.

"Oh." She gets in the car after he opens her door. He chuckles as he gets in his own side of the car.

When they get back to his flat, the pair immediately goes to sit Calum's bed. He wraps his arms around her, pulling her into his lap.

"Hey look, it's almost our time." Calum murmurs in Madison's ear, making her look at him confused.

"What are you going on about, Cal?" She responds with a light laugh - a sound Calum absolutely adores.

"Remember? You were helplessly wandering around the streets in the middle of the night, and-"

"I was not helplessly wandering around the streets." She defends, snorting. Calum laughs as he shakes his head and tightens his grip around her waist.

"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted," he teases, "we met at midnight." He says, making a small smile make its way to both of their faces.

"God, I fell in love with you pretty fast didn't I?" Madison sighs in content, leaning into his chest even further - if that was possible.

"I fell in love with you just a little faster though." He argues cutely.

"I would argue, but it's almost midnight now, and I want a kiss before I fall asleep." Her statement makes Calum smile widely, moving her position so that she was facing him. She gets off him fully before sitting back down so that she was straddling his waist.

"I love you Calum Hood." She whispers, that same goofy smile on both their faces.

"I love you more Madison Brown." He responds in the same hushed tone. Before pressing her lips to his, she glances at the digital clock sitting on the nightstand beside them.
