It's been a few hours and I lost Olivia. She was completely drunk and was now dancing with a random guy.

I stood near a corner, trying to avoid contact with anyone. A few guys looked at me and started walking towards me, but I quickly walked into the kitchen area.

A guy grabbed my arm and started pushing against me, my body pushed against the wall.

"Get off!" I struggled.

"Hey! Get off her!" A voice yelled.

The guy quickly rushed away.

I looked at the person whose voice it was and my heart stopped. The temperature felt like it raised about a hundred degrees and my palms were beginning to sweat.

He stared at me. His eyes were the same. His hair was different though. It was now highlighted.

Before he could say something, I murmured a quick 'thank you' and pushed past him.

I was now looking for Olivia. I bumped into a guy and said 'sorry' and tried to push past him, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me outside.

I pushed him off and looked to see who the person was.

Evan Retta.

Evan was my crush before I met Rye. He asked me to 'prom' in 8th grade.

"Hey." he smiled.
"Hey, Ev!"

"I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?"

For the next hour, I sat outside catching up with him.

"Yeah, my mom's sister had a little baby girl a few months ago. Her name's Claire. She has these little baby dimples and she's so adorable." he said, smiling the entire time.

"Awe, she sounds cute. I wanna meet her."

"You can meet her soon."

"Okay, cool."

I saw a shadow move behind Evan and saw Rye and another girl making out in his car.

My chest started hurting.

I looked away quickly and stared at the grass.

"You okay?"
I nodded.

"Do you want me to get Olivia? She's with my friend in there." Evan said, worried.
"No, it's okay. I'm okay...I just need to even out my breathing." I said, taking deep and slow breaths.

Evan hesitated, then sat back down.

I focused on my breathing, trying to get rid of Rye from my mind.

"I'm-I'm okay." I said.
He nodded, but still looked worried.

I looked over at Rye to see the girl on top of him. He was smiling.

My eyes burned with tears.

Evan saw that I was staring at them and said, "He's drunk. Rye and I are good friends, and he would always talk about you."

I shook my head.

"He doesn't even know me anymore."
"He does."

"How?"
"Social media. He still follows you, Emma. Didn't you know?"
I shook my head, then looked down at my knees.

"Do you still follow him?"
"I only follow his band's account on Twitter."

He nodded.

"Do you miss him?"
"I thought I didn't...but I guess I do."

"Talk to him."
"No, he's moved on."

"No, he hasn't. That girl is a random person and he'll probably never talk to her again."
"I-I don't know."

"Think about it, okay?"
I nodded.

"My girlfriend's here. I'm gonna go. I'll see you later?"
I nodded.
"Good luck, bud."
"Thanks, Ev." I said, giving him a weak smile.

"Rye, can I please go to sleep now?"
"No, you're staying up with me." he said, smiling.

"Get off!"
He wrapped his body around mine tighter and started kissing my cheeks.

"Rye, it's nearly eleven."
"You're staying up until 11:11, princess."
"Why?"
"So we can make our 11:11s."

I smiled.

I stood up and walked back into the house.
~~~~~
I stayed in the bathroom for the past hour. No one came in, thankfully.
I was listening to my music and having my own little party in there.
A teenager came in and jumped. I laughed and left the bathroom for him to throw up.
My awkward, clumsy self bumped into the one person I didn't want to see.
I quickly stood up and walked away, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me upstairs into the bedroom.
He locked the door and stared at me.
His eyes were dull, but he looked completely sober.
"What do you want?" I choked out.
He didn't respond, but came closer to me. I started backing away.
"Rye-"
"I miss you, princess."
I twitched when I heard his voice.
"Leave me alone."
"I need you."
"I don't want you."
He looked hurt.
"You look beautiful as always." he whispered.
I pulled at the bottom of my dress.
"Babe, who was that guy you were talking to earlier?"
"Why do you care?"
He looked away from me.
"You were making out with that girl, so don't start making me the bad guy. We're not even together."
"I'm sorry." he whispered.
I shook my head.
"It's too late, Rye."
"Babe, please, I need you. I miss you."
"Leave me alone...please."
"No, babe, forgive me, please."
"Forgive you for what? Cheating on me and then making out with that girl and expect me to forgive you?
"Princess-"
"I'm not your princess."
"Babe-"
"Stop calling me that."
"Stop interrupting me." he snapped.
I stayed quiet.
"You are my princess and you're not anyone else's, understand?" he asked, moving closer.
I nodded.
"Rye, please leave me alone." I begged.
"Not until you answer one question."
"W-what?"
"Who was that guy you were with?"
"My friend."
"Your friend?"
"Yes."
"Did he touch you?"
"Yes, but not like you touched her body." I snapped.
"Shut up." he growled.
I backed up a bit, my distance was close to the wall.
"Rye-"
"Where did he touch you?"
"My-my arm."
"That's it?"
I nodded.
He grabbed me by my waist and pushed me against the wall.
I was too scared to fight back.
"Princess, you can't let anyone else touch you." he said gently.
"Jealousy isn't attractive."
"But you're mine."
His eyes began to shimmer and his lips touched mine.
It wasn't a rough kiss. He was gentle, just as I remember, but this time he was more needy.
My heart began beating fast and I wrapped my arms around his neck, his arms around my waist.
I missed this feeling. No matter how much pain he put me through, I'm always going to need him. He's mine. Don't take him away. Please.
