Maddy coughs, gaining both of their attentions. Calum's head shoots up and his eyes widen, wondering if she had heard everything he had just said. She smiles and walks in, ruffling Chase's hair and kisses Calum's cheek. He blushes once she had walked past him making Chase snicker at him.

"You can't tell Mom and Dad we were here, okay? Especially not Calum." Maddy tells her little brother once she grabbed her phone and wallet.

"You know I won't tell them. Have fun with your boyfriend." Chase teases making both of them blush. Neither of them say anything while Maddy kisses his forehead before shooing him out of her room nicely.

"You ready to go, Mads?" Calum asks once her brother is out of the room, wrapping his arms around her from behind and resting his head on hers.

"Stop being taller than me." Maddy mumbles, smiling widely.

"Would you rather me shorter than you?" He teases. Her face scrunches and she shakes her head quickly making Calum chuckle.

"Come on, Cal. Let's go." Maddy decided not to say anything about the conversation she had just heard. She wriggles out of his grasp and tugs on his hand to take him out of the room.

When the climb in the car, Maddy takes of her sandals and props her feet up in front of her. "Get comfortable, why don't you?" Calum snorts, glancing at her. She only sticks her tongue out, not bothering with a response. "Where do you want to eat?"

"I don't really know. We don't eat out." Maddy shrugs.

"You can cook? Or your mum does it?" She laughs.

"Mum. That sounds funny. Like if you were a kid, would you say Mummy?" She giggles, covering her face and Calum can't help but smile at her. "But no, neither of us cook. My parents have a personal chef." She shrugs with a small frown. "I hate having everything done for me. Like, when I left yesterday, my room was not that clean. The maids cleaned it." She slumps in her seat, resting her head on her palm.

"I'm sorry, Mads." Cal murmurs, placing his hand on her thigh, instantly comforting her.

"You need to stop apologizing too, Hood." Maddy teases, resting her small hand on his bigger one.

"You need to stop calling me Hood, Mads." He retorts in the same manner. "Maybe something like my one true love." Maddy blushes and hides her face by looking out the window with a laugh.

"You wish," she smiles, "Hood." She adds just to bother him.

She shuts up when he pulls into a small burger place. "What is this place?" She asks once Calum opens her door.

"You've never been here?" He asks surprised.

"No," she laughs, "I told you we don't eat out." Calum opens the front door of the restaurant and she steps in, immediately hit with the scent of burgers.

"I thought that meant you didn't eat out alot. Not never." They both walk to the small line in front of the counter to order.

"In America, we ate at a few McDonald's and Chick-fil-a's, but it's been almost five years since we moved here." She shrugs, looking at the menu. "What's good here?" She turns her attention to Calum who was already looking at her.

"Uh," he starts nervously now that he had been caught staring, "it depends on what you like." She bites her lip and shrugs.

She ends up ordering what Calum ordered - double cheeseburger with bacon. "Are you sure you'll be able to finish that?" He asks teasingly. She only rolls her eyes, picking a fry up to throw at him.

"I bet you ten bucks I can." She challenges as they sit at a small table in the corner.

"Okay, but I'll hate to take ten dollars from a pretty girl." Calum winks cheekily. Maddy rolls her eyes and looks away in attempt to hide her blush, but Calum had already seen it.

"Ha!" Maddy smiles, dropping her napkin. "Told you I could finish it. Though I'm full as fuck now, it was worth it." Calum grabs her hand and she intertwines their fingers - something they both grew used to and grew to enjoy.

"Fine, I'll give you ten bucks when we get back to my flat."

"Who said I was going back to your flat?" She asks teasingly. Calum stops walking before standing in front of Maddy and turning to face her. She stops in her tracks her stares up at him with wide eyes. "What?" She asks with a laugh. He tries to hide his smile, but fails and ends up smiling like an idiot.

"Will you please come back to my flat with me?" He asks cutely, pressing his forehead against hers.

"Of course, Cal." She sighs over dramatically. He grabs her cheeks and presses his lips lightly to her nose. As he turns back around to continue to his car, Maddy hides her disappointment that it was only her nose he kissed.
