Eventually, the two seperated - much to their dismay - and Calum started towards Maddy's house once again. "You live here?" He clarifies, staring at Maddy who is nibbling on her bottom lip.

"Yup. Let's go." She mumbles, unbuckling her seatbelt.

"Wait!" Calum exclaims, quickly getting out of the car. She flinches at the volume of his voice and sits back. He opens the door and smiles cheekily down at her.

"What?" She asks with a small laugh as she gets out of the car.

"I had to open the door for you." He shrugs, intertwining their fingers. "Which one is your room?"

"Lucky for us, my room is on the bottom floor." She tugs him toward a big, double-door styled window. She pries it open and Calum jumps in first before turning and holding his hand out for Maddy. She grabs it and jumps in beside him, almost tripping on the edge of the window.

"Okay, yeah I believe you about not sneaking boys in. You're awful at this." He laughs, making her snort and walk away from him.

"I'll be right back. Don't leave my room." She grabs some clothes and walks into her bathroom.

While she's in the shower, Calum starts snooping around her room. "What are you doing here?" He hears a small voice ask. He jumps slightly, dropping the book in his hands - The Fault in Our Stars. He turns and sees a little boy, who couldn't be much older than twelve, staring up at him. He immediately figured out it was Maddy's little brother, Chase.

"Hey there little guy." He smiles down at him, picking the book back up and putting it where he found it. "I'm a friend of your sister."

"Are you her boyfriend?" He asks, climbing on her computer chair. Calum can easily pick out their familiar traits - the light brown hair and eyes. And Chase was adorable, just like Maddy.

"No." He laughs.

"I think you're her boyfriend." Chase replies simply. "How did you meet Maddy?"

"She was outside all alone at midnight." This makes Chase roll his eyes as if he expects her to do something like that.

"Have you been with her since?" Calum nods and Chase laughs. "You like my sister." He teases before sticking out his tongue.

"What are you talking about, Chase?" He asks amused, although he didn't deny it.

"If you stayed with Maddy for this long, you definitely like her."

"Okay fine, I like your sister, but you can't tell her that." Calum admits making Chase smile proudly.

"I won't."

"Promise?" Calum challenges playfully.

"Pinki promise." Chase holds out his tiny pinki and Calum hooks his own with it.

Niether of them noticed Maddy had finished her shower and had the door cracked open, hearing everything they were talking about.
