ADDISON
You're not imposing but if you insist. I'll tell you all about it when I get home tonight.

BREE
You'd better, I want a full report
(Smiles and walks out the front door)

ZED
She wants a full report, you know what that means, I'd better show you a good time worthy enough of a full report.

ADDISON
Any time spent with you is well over worthy of a full report.

ZED
(Smiles)

Missy and Dale come downstairs and sees Zed.

DALE
Zed! My boy! How are you?
(Walks over to Zed and Addison)

ZED
(Smiles)
I'm doing pretty good and yourself sir?

DALE
Can't complain son, can't complain. Going to be exchanging my patrol uniform for a police uniform today. It'll be good to finally stop keeping an eye out for zombies and to keep an eye out for actual criminals.

ZED
Yeah, I know everyone in the zombie community is relieved as well.

DALE
I can only imagine. So, what are you going to do now that football is over?

ZED
(Looks at Addison)

ADDISON
(Smiles)

ZED
I was thinking maybe basketball.

DALE
Amazing! I was a point guard too ya know.

ZED
You were?

MISSY
He was.

DALE
I was.

ZED
Looks like we have a lot in common.

MISSY
I was just about to say that. Now Zed, I believe you have something for me.

ZED
(Looks at Addison confused)

ADDISON
(Shrugs)

MISSY
A hug silly, after all, you're practically family now.

ADDISON
Mom!

ZED
(Chuckles and hugs Missy)

ADDISON
(Grabs Zed and pushes him towards the door)
We're going on our date now.

MISSY
Alright don't stay out too late you two. Zed, make sure you keep the both of you safe.

DALE
Oh, and if you go by the bakery can you pick me up a couple of donuts? I've been craving them for a couple of days now.

ZED
Sure thing, bye
(Walks out the door)

ADDISON
(Follows him)
Ugh, finally, away from the super preppy committee.

ZED
(Laughs)
I think it's cool that your parents are so involved in your life.

ADDISON
Yeah well I think it's even cooler that they love you so much. They almost love you as much as I do—
(Gasps)

ZED
(Looks at her and smiles)

ADDISON
Sorry, that came out—

ZED
It's okay, it's much easier saying it in zombie tongue.

ADDISON
(Nods)
Yeah you're right— wait!

ZED
(Laughs)

ADDISON
You understood me?

ZED
Of course, you actually said it perfectly. Why do you think I stopped when you told me?

ADDISON
But that means, you said it back to me.

ZED
Yeah I did, cause I do.

ADDISON
(Blushes)
You do?

ZED
Of course I do. How could I not? You're incredible and I'm not just talking about your looks.

ADDISON
(Blushes)

ZED
(Smiles and wraps his arm around her shoulder)

ADDISON
So, to ZombieTown?

ZED
If you'd like, I thought you'd want to do something in SeaBrook first

ADDISON
We're in SeaBrook all the time. We go to school in SeaBrook. I mean is there anywhere else in SeaBrook you've always wanted to visit? Ya know, besides the ice cream shop.

ZED
Uh, how about everywhere.

ADDISON
(Laughs)
Okay, that's a lot, so tell you what, why don't we start with your top pick.

ZED
Hmm, that'll be the SeaBrook Zoo. We don't have a zoo in ZombieTown.

ADDISON
ZombieTown doesn't have a zoo?

ZED
(Shakes his head)
Nope, I guess they felt like we were caged ourselves so why would we do that to others?

ADDISON
(Looks down)

ZED
(Looks at her)
Hey, is everything okay?

ADDISON
I just feel so bad for everything you had to miss out on growing up. There's nothing better than getting out of school and your parents taking you for a surprise trip to the zoo. Seeing all of the different animals in their habitats. It's like a dream come true.

ZED
(Nods)
I've always imagined that, but hey now I get to go with you. And that's just as special as going with my dad.

ADDISON
(Smiles)
And then maybe we can take Zoey

ZED
That's not a bad idea

The two teens start to walk towards the zoo, happily discussing their future plans for Zoey.
