"Waah~ this is such a cute mascot character~!"

(Y/n) jumped in surprise as she turned around to meet a pair of sparkly eyes owned by Midori. She had just learned that Midori took interest in mascot characters, therefore deciding to create one herself since she was bored. Indeed, it was rare for a pessimistic person to smile for a whole thirty minutes just by staring at a drawing with no signs of talent. He had been repeating the words of the cute 'character' over and over again, making (Y/n) uncomfortable but nonetheless felt relieved that he loved her drawing.

The class had then finished as (Y/n) made her way to the second-years hallway, viewing her hand-drawn map in her sketchbook that she took pride in. It was labelled to scale, having neat lines drawn to indicate the walls and the spaces to indicate the rooms. Seeing the classroom with '2-B' on the plaque to due in a work in for a student of the student council, she used her break time to take on the responsibility, as she was a helper of the class president in her class.

"Sorry for the intrusion~" she whistled as she slid the door to find Koga with an irk mark to show how irritated he was to meet her first thing during lunch break. She panicked, scanning for someone to hide behind but knew it wasn't the right thing to do.

"I-I'm really sorry for last time!" She bowed down as he flinched. "I shouldn't have panicked and dashed to find the nearest person to hide behind because of my social anxiety and frightening thoughts--"

"Whaa-- Why are ya bowing!? That's not manly at all!" He growled, feeling guilt rush down his spine as she finally lifted her head, sweatdropping to the fact that she wasn't even a man, to begin with. "I'm not gonna bite, so don't start panicking whenever you see my face around!"

"Y-Yes...I'm (L/n) (B/n) from class 1-A..."

"Oogami Koga from class 2-B, right over 'ere. Seems like ya have some business with this class?" His rough yet concerned voice made her warm up a bit, pointing to the files she was holding.

"Yeah, I'm looking for a member of the student council who volunteered to take these," she replied with a smile. "Do you know who this person may be?"

"Aah, that's me," a friendly voice called as she turned around from the entrance to meet an upperclassman with maroon hair. She bowed slightly, handing the worksheets over and sighing in relief, finishing her job in a flash. It made her unexpectedly hyper that she met people along the way, nor was she relieved that her problems with Koga had faded. She locked eyes with the second-year before he begun to speak. "I'm Isara Mao, are you the new producer that everyone was talking about?"

"W-Well, I haven't met everyone yet..." She stuttered, amazed that many people brought her into their conversations. "But I hope to meet and get along with each and every one of them. Thank you for your time, Isara-senpai. I'm (L/n) (B/n) from class 1-A. Bye-bye, Oogami-senpai."

She waved to the two whilst leaving before seeing the sight of Yuzuru walking around with a troubled expression. Walking over, she decided to ask him if anything had happened.

"Are you okay, Fushimi-senpai?" She called as she tapped his shoulder. He looked at her and brightened up a bit, although the frown hadn't wiped off his face. She felt a weird feeling in her chest, as if...

She grabbed his arms and pulled herself closer in determination. "Don't hesitate to tell me anything, alright!? That's because you're my friend!" Her eyes sparkled as if it was immune to the dark aura around her and her ever-shining platinum blonde hair still locked inside the cap yet so vivid waved a bit as she stepped back.

His eyes widened as she let go, clearing her throat in the process. (Y/N)  gazed at his eyes and smiled. "I suppose it relates to Himemiya-kun?"

"Y-Yes," he admitted with a worried tone to his voice. "I made him a bento like always, although I don't see him with it. It appears that he might be sneaking into the cafeteria and buying unhealthy food."

"Hmm...so he didn't notify you, huh?" She mumbled as she thought about it. "Surely he's going for those hamburger steaks with a lot of meat since last time I saw him, he was eating a lot of vegetables and all the meat was gone. Maybe he hated the amount of meat that was barely present? Of course, vegetables are important but meat gives you protein. You might have to increase the amount of meat if you want your bocchama to accept it."

"True," he sighed. "I might have forced him to eat things he does not like for a long time. It might be time for a change."

(Y/n) grinned to see that his problems were solved before he dismissed himself, leaving to look for Tori in the cafeteria. She, too, left the hallway to find some fresh air...running into the water fountain with the weird person she automatically ignored on her first day. Gulping and deciding to take another peak, she recognised that he was still there, relaxing as always.

"E-Excuse me...you're going to catch a cold if you bathe in the water fountain with your uniform every day!" She squeaked, poking his cheek and pouting. Her eyes twitched, seeing that he was unfazed by her words and even managed to say 'it's fine puka puka~'.

"There's no way catching a cold would be alright!" She raised her voice, only to be stopped by a third-year who appeared out of nowhere.

"No need to worry! I am Yumenosaki Academy's "hero of justice," Morisawa Chiaki of the burning heart! The life-giving sun, burning bright red, Ryusei Red!" The voice rung as she stared at him with confusion. "Oi~ Kanata! Floating in the cold water in the middle of the day will get you sick, you know~?"

...So he's the leader of Midori-kun and Tetora-kun's unit..? But first thing's first, why the hell is he here!?

"Lessons are over~ so I'm relaxing in the water, puka~ puka~"

(Y/n) noticed a stuffed animal beside the fountain, loose threads sticking out. Feeling a little uncomfortable to leave the plush like that, she took out a small purse from her breast pocket and opened it to find a needle and a few rolls of fine, thin thread.

"Senpai, is it okay if I fix this?" She asked, seeing that his tie was green (stating that he was a third-year), (Y/n)  knew deeply well that using honorifics was the best choice. Seeing that he nodded his head, she took the cute plush turtle and positioned it so it would be easier to sew before smoothly sliding the thread into the needle and getting to work.

(Y/n) still noticed Chiaki's presence, uneasy on why she felt as if double the sunlight had shone on her. Replaying his introduction earlier...

Yumenosaki Academy's 'hero of justice'? So he made this unit because he admires heroes?

"Ooh! What amazing sewing skills! It's just like seeing another Kiryu!" Chiaki complimented, gaining her attention as she snapped the thread, finished mending the plush. Packing up her equipment and placing the item back onto Kanata's arms that were longing for his stuffed animal, she smiled at her achievement.

"I should be going now," she stated, earning a groan from her two senpais. Bowing as an etiquette, (Y/n) dismissed herself after introducing her name and waving them goodbye.

Are most of my senpais weird people?

"(B/n)-kun, where have you been!?" Anzu's voice shouted from across the garden terrace. (Y/n) jumped from the surprise as always, turning her head around slowly like a robot. There, stood Anzu with her arms on her hips, showing a pouty expression, carrying a few costumes per arm.

"S-Sorry, senpai!" (Y/n) apologised as she rushed over and grabbed the costumes on her left arm, seeing the labour her friend had to work in. "I met a few other weird people...waah~ why does my life have to suck?"

Anzu snickered and turned the other way, whispering some words that (Y/n) couldn't make out.

"Don't worry, (Y/n)-chan. Your thoughts will go into a 180-degree turn."
