isha's on her way to the library, a mountain of books in her hand, when she bumps into harry. she doesn't bump into him literally, because that would be disastrous, won't it? books everywhere, panic, falling, hurt. but she does bump into him figuratively, and he looks as fit as ever, hair swept away from his smooth, gleaming face, long eyelashes framing his forest-green eyes, pink lips in a smile.
god, isha thinks, he's pretty.
harry's smile becomes wider and more beautiful, if that's even possible, when he sees isha, carrying her weight in books, clearly having a hard time. he doesn't help her, however, just leans back a little so she doesn't crash into him, and picks up the book on the top of the stack, turning it over in his hands, scanning the title.
"romeo and juliet?" he asks, holding up the old, tattered book, "i love romeo and juliet."
"me too!" isha exclaims, poking her head from behind the books, feeling her hands shake under the weight, "i've read it so many times but ms. jane said i have to get it back or she'll debunk my card."
"i'll issue it for you," harry offers, and isha's eyes go wide, mouth dropping open as she whispers, "you would?"
"you kept my leaves for me, it's only fair," he says, dimpled smile on his face, teasing tone to his voice, waiting for the smile that he's grown oh so fond of.
"but you can only issue a book at a time! what will you read?"
"i'll read it with you. can i?"
"oh, harry!" isha exclaims giddily, eyes lighting up, tone happier than ever before, "you're an angel!"
"only yours."
