What Are We Doing

Flashback 2

"Heck no!"

"But why?!" She whines

"Is a letter that comes before Z" I say turning around.

"Auntie please, just one date just a widdle ole date in the di-"

"Fine!" I say cutting off Amelia.

I can't believe she is dating already. I just want her to go back to the little girl that always played with barbies and watched Dora all the time. Now she's asking me to use my house for her date! I'm going to keep a close eye on her, house is too big, she can slip anywhere she wanted with him and can't hear a sound from them.

"Alyssa!" Jack calls. Oh my gosh can't he shut up he'll wake up the- ugh baby.

"You come to me!" I shout back. I leave Amelia in the living room and walk up the stairs to the nursery. I enter the nursery to see jack holding our new born hope in his hand.

She's two months now, she's got brown hair like jack, my thin nose, my plump lips and jacks brown eyes along with jacks terrible temper.

I smile at the site and walk in the room more to take her from him.

"What are you doing!" He says with a pout turning his body away from me so I don't take her.

"Jack you wanted to go to work late today, so go to your office downstairs and give me her" I say going closer to him to take the baby again, but he just walks away from me shielding her.

"Fine then I won't go work" he says looking down at her with a smile.

"Jack-"

I shake my head smiling, then went and took the baby from him. Finally I got her.

"Jack you've missed too much work" I say looking into his eyes seriousness playing on my face.

"I know I know, I just can't leave her" he says with a deep frown on his lips.

"Are you acting this way because of what happened?"

"No" he says in a quiet voice.

"Jack! You can't beat yourself up about that anymore, yes you said she wasn't yours and you left us for so long, but I forgive you! She forgives you! And she doesn't even know what forgiveness is yet!" I say the ending humorously and a smile starts tugging at his lips.

"Tomorrow my future husband is going to go to work, boss the hell out of that job, and bring home some money for your daughter so when she grows up she can be daddies spoilt little girl" I say with a smile and he laughs.

"She could be daddies little girl, just not spoilt" he says seriousness on his face and I laugh.

"Alright tough guy, now my niece is inviting a boy over and I need you to scare him" I say turning around staring to walk out the room with hope, but jacks hand pulled me back making me face him.

"Really Alyssa scare him"

"Hell yes! He needs to either leave my niece alone or he needs to take care of her and never ever break her heart, so show him that you can break his bones if he ever does" I say with seriousness on my face, I show jack I'm not joking and he sighs.

"It better be the same for our daughter, so if I'm protective of my daughter around boys in the future you can't tell me anything" he says like there was no room for argument about it in the future.

"Yeah sure whatever go nuts! Just get my niece's boyfriend shitting his pants in my living room please" I say then walked out the room leaving an amused jack there.

I don't think he understands that I so, totally, one hundred percent! would fight him on being protective over my daughter so much. I know jack, and to get boys away from hope in the future, he would lock her up in a tower!

Ding dong!

"I got it!" Amelia shouts. I'm at the bottom of the steps when Amelia walks in with a what I'm sure a one hundred percent bad boy. Heck to the no!

"Heck-" I started shouting but jacks loud voice booms over mine.

"You must be Amelia's boyfriend!" He shouts with a smile.

"No uncle he's just a friend" she say with a smile. Oh I know that smile! That little witch! That's her cute smile that she uses to get whatever she wants! Oh my plans a goner.

"Good, how about dinner?" I ask playing it cool. Gosh I wanna beat her so bad! Bad boy! Realllyyy!!!

"Yes please" she says then pulls his hand and walks off with him.

I grunt then sit on the step with hope in my hands.

"Hey bunny you okay?" Jack asks as he sits next to me. I lean my head on his shoulder and he wraps his hand around my waist pulling me closer.

"Yeah" I sigh. "She just growing up so fast" I say with a frown on my face.

"Just now we'll be able to go clubbing together"

"Hell no! No clubbing period!" He demands which makes me roll my eyes.

"She's not a little girl anymore" a tear slips down from my eye as to what I just said became a reality.

"Come on baby don't cry, she'll forever be your little girl" I wipe my tear away and smile knowing he's right.

"Your right" I say looking up at him. He smiles then kisses my forehead. He takes the baby from my hand then stands up. He let's out his hand for me to take.

"Come on you have dinner to serve" he says and I laugh.

I walk past him, knowing he's right behind me.

"I still want you to scare him"

We share out dinner, jack scared him senseless, he was technically popping his pants in my dinning room while Amelia puts her head in her hands grunting. He asked the boys what he wants to become in the future, then jack said he was part of a mafia and won't hesitate to kill him if he ever hurts his niece.  It was so hard to hold back my laugh, but I was smiling though! A big toothy grin.

"My beautiful future wife, what are you doing" Jack says wrapping his arms around my waist from the back as I wipe the kitchen counter.

"Isn't it obvious my future husband" I say and he laughs.

Amelia is up in her room sleeping, hope also, and that bad boy named something like brian or Dylan whatever his stupid name is, is finally gone!

I know I shouldn't be hating on a child but he's with my niece! He's a total bad boy! Not having it!

"Why don't we stop that and do....." he leaves an pause, stopping me from doing what I was doing, spins me around and lifts me up on the counter. I giggle at him "this" he says finishing his sentence.

He comes between my legs and starts kissing my neck. I rest my head back giving him more access. I moan which makes him groan pushing himself on me.

"Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew, I'm going to just....go, ewwww" I hear a voice say in the air. We stop and look at where the voice came from to see Amelia walking out of the kitchen. We look at each other shock at what just happened. I started laughing. Jack picks me up bridal style.

"Come on the future Mrs. Henry, we have something to finish" he says and starts walking out the kitchen to the stairs. I giggle while he chuckles.
