“You have got to be kidding me” Sam said, shaking his head.
“I was pulled out of bed to celebrate Balthazar’s birthday?! Since when did we become friends?” Dean groaned. Balthazar narrowed his eyes at Dean.
“Well, that’s rude”
“Why would you even have a birthday party; you weren’t even born” Sam cut in quickly as Dean started to glare at the birthday angel. Looking at Dean for a moment longer, Balthazar turned to smile easily at Sam.
“I decided I wanted one, moosey”
“A ridiculous sentiment” Castiel said to him. Balthazar simply nudged him and Tasha aside to place the cake on Bobby’s desk. He turned to them, clapping his hands together.
“I wanted you all here because you’re team free will. Basically, you are the only friends I have, or rather, allies. My brethren don’t really approve of me right now”
Tasha and Castiel looked at him with sadness in their eyes. They knew the feeling.
“That’s enough grim faces, everybody outside!” He clapped his hands and suddenly, they stood outside, under the carport. There was a long table where an old car used to be. Party decorations were scattered around the table, streamers and party-poppers and glitter.
“Have a seat!”
