"what do you want to do today?" alex asked, the two of us sat on the sofa, and i sighed lightly, resting my head on his shoulder.
"i don't mind." i smiled, turning my face to press a kiss to his jaw.
"i have an idea." he smiled.
"what?" i looked up at him, a smile on my lips as well.
"i'm not telling you." he smirked, "come on." he stood up and gently grabbed my hand, and i followed him upstairs.
"what do i need to wear?" i laughed lightly as he started getting dressed.
"whatever, it doesn't matter." alex said, so i grabbed a pair of fitted, grey joggers and a crop top, putting them on along with furry sliders.
he drove us somewhere, and grabbed my hand when we got out, leading us into a building, and i heard high-pitched barks when we entered, my eyes lighting up.
"choose one." alex wrapped his arms around my waist and mumbled into my hair, pressing a kiss to the top of my head.
i smiled, "i love you." and went to the cages, looking at all of the adorable puppies.
