The owner of the voice beat some of the Purple dimwits quickly and the rest ran off.

"Hi, are you OK?" He asked in a concerned voice.

"I'm fine thanks to you."

"You're welcome. It really was nothing! I hope you don't mind my asking but, what's your name?" He asked me.

  "Lily. What's your name?"

He hesitated for a moment.

"Leonardo. Call me Leo if you want."

We sat there in an awkward silence as the city grew quieter.

"I'll walk you home of you want."

"I don't have one...." I trailed off.

He looked at me with surprised look, then he smiled softly.

"You can come with me! I'm warning you though, my brothers are extremely...different. One more thing-" he stepped out revealing that he was a...turtle, "please don't scream."

I wasn't really phased by it, I kind of enjoyed the fact that I wasn't the only mutant.

"Don't worry, I'm not scared. Actually, I'm quite excited about it." I assured him.

   "Why?"

"I don't know exactly."

Once we got to the "lair", Leo called out to his brothers. All of them raced to the couch and sat down, well, all but the shortest one in orange.

"HI DUDETTE! My name is Michelangelo,  call me Mikey, Dr.Prankenstein, Dr.Flipenstein, anything but what Raph calls me." He yelled.

   Leo face-palmed and sat down.

"I'm Donatello, call me Donnie or Don." The one in purple stated.

He seemed to be the tallest, had a gap-toothed smile, and lastly, he had a strange techno-thing in his hand.

Raphael just grumbled his name unclearly, so Leo had to explain to me what he preferred to be called.

Splinter scolded them at first, but then he invited me to stay with them considering that I had no home.

"No more humans, boys." He told them while walking out.

I spent the night in Leo's room and leo slept on the couch.

Honestly, I didn't want him to leave.
