"what about your family" i asked, sniffling
"haven't seen them since they put me in here" he said "they were the ones who called the asylum to come get me"
he chuckled bitterly.
"i don't want to hurt you anymore" he said "leave before you care about me too much"
i got up and left his room.
destinys pov
it's been two weeks since i've last seen daniel. there's nothing i want more than to see him but i don't want to lose someone else who's close to me.
my phone was ringing so i picked it up.
"destiny, you have to come into work" travone panted "its an emergency"
"have you been running?" i asked
"yes, just come" he said and hung up
i ran to my car and sped to the asylum. i walked in and everything seemed to be normal.
i was walking around looking for travone. i accidentally bumped into someone.
"oh my god, i'm so sorry, are you okay?" i asked "daniel?"
"hey" he said
"what are you doing out of your room?" i asked
"someone forgot to lock the door and here i am" he said
"let's get back to your room" i said
"no" he said
"daniel" i said
"please" he begged
"i have to go find travone" i sighed
i brought him to a hidden room near my office.
"stay here, don't move" i instructed
i went to go find travone.
"destiny" i heard from behind me
i turned around and saw travone.
"hey, what's wrong?" i asked
"don't be mad, but i can't find daniel" he said
"oh uh it's okay, i'll find him" i said "on one condition"
"what is it?" he asked
"when is daniel-"i was cut off
"three weeks" he said
"let me take him out, for just one day" i said "ill bring him back here before 12:00am"
"destiny" he said
"please" i said
he sighed and nodded his head "okay"
i smiled and hugged him.
"ill go find him" i said and went to daniel
i pulled him out of the room and walked around the asylum with him.
i might love this kid.
