Winner of the Uchiha's Category, 2017

Hello~ It's a pleasure to be able to interview you! How are you doing today?

It's a pleasure to be interviewed hehe! Thankfully, I'm doing well ^_^

That's great~ Now, let's get right to the questions. Congratulations on winning first place in the Uchiha's category of the Naruto Watty Awards! How do you feel about that and what was your initial reaction to the news? Did you brag about it to your family and friends? ;)

Thanks! I was really shocked when I found out and I looked over the message just in case to see if I had read it wrong XD Once I realized it was really true, I was so happy and just thankful. I didn't think I had it in me and there were so many great writers, I was surprised I won. I did actually did brag about it to my sister and my friends hehe, they were proud of me too :)

Well, you definitely earned all the bragging rights (; Your fanfic, Don't Test Me, has brought you much success by winning you an award! Please tell me, what was your inspiration? Was it something that came to you all at once or did the idea take a while to develop?

Well, the idea for Don't Test Me (which I changed to "I am Strong" btw :P) actually started with another book I started but never really got into. The character was named Koharu Hamasaki and she was basically the inspiration for my character Hotaru Hamasaki (the main character in Don't Test Me) The book with Koharu took place before the Uchiha massacre and I lost my motivation for that story. I loved the character though and the idea of a clan with the abilities I chose. The clan was inspired by the episodes with Hoshigakure and the power of the star. Since I really didn't want to throw away those abilities/that clan, I created Hotaru who was the same age as Naruto. I've also always loved the Uchiha and especially Sasuke, I created this character who would eventually fall for our favorite duckbutt XD

That's very interesting! I might just have to read it for myself ^^ You're currently at 125 followers and still going strong. When did your rise to fame start and where do you aim to be in the future, followers wise?

Well, my rise to fame started basically after I won the award lol. I hope to reach 1K followers in the future and hopefully gain 100K reads on my book ^_^

Those are some good goals ^^ And I'm sure they aren't out of your reach! On the topic of your followers, as many of them will probably be reading this interview, is there anything you'd like to say to them?

I do hope I reach them! A message to my followers would be that I love them. Without them, I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did. I wouldn't have won 1st place in the Uchiha category, and I probably wouldn't have the motivation to write. I read every comment, and seeing how supporting and loving they are just makes me so inspired and motivated to do more for them. I really do appreciate them and love them since I really wouldn't be anywhere without them :)

On that note... let's go back to your stories. Which one is your personal favorite or which one are you the proudest of? Is it I Am Strong? Or one of the others you've written?

I'm proud of both since I Am Strong is the first book I've ever completed and Blue is my first sequel, but I feel like my favorite would have to be Blue. I Am Strong still needs to be edited since I started writing it when I was around 13 years old. The plot is a little weird in I Am Strong, but I feel like Blue will bring everything together and everything will sort of...make sense? Blue is still in it's early stages and it's taking me a long time to write, but everything seems more thought out and I have an amazing plan for it. I'm just excited for it and feel like it's more well written than I Am Strong. Of course, I've had many other ideas for stories and others I've started (included about 8 drafts >~<), but I've never been so connected and motivated like I am with this series. These books are just so special to me, especially since they're growing and I've gotten so far with them. ^_^

Then if you were to enter our upcoming 2018, would you enter Blue?

yes, that's the plan ^_^

Perfect! We hope to see you then! To be so talented and successful on wattpad... I'm sure you had some support along the way! Other then your general fanbase, is there anyone you would like to give a shoutout to? Both on wattpad and not ^^

You flatter me >~< I'd have to give credit to my little sister, Debathist, who supported me through everything and was my first fan through everything ^_^ she listened to my story before it was published and encouraged me to publish it in the first place, so she was the one who made all of this happen. I thank her for her love and support through everything, including my writing ^_^

That sounds like a great sister! Make sure to thank her in person! Last question... If you could describe your stories and writing style in five words, which words would you use?

I will thank her for sure, she is amazing!! To describe my writing style, Id probably say descriptive, emotional, sometimes a little witty, complex, and tragic (most, if not all, of my stories have a sad or tragic backstory :p)

That's a great way of describing it ^^ And that concludes our interview! Is there anything else you'd like to put out there before we say goodbye?

Well, I wanted to thank you for interviewing me in the first place, it really is such an honor! And of course, a final thank you to my readers and followers who have supported me all the way ^_^

Thank you for taking the time to be interviewed! Bye~~ ^^

You're welcome! I was very happy to be interviewed hehe ^_^
