I see a lot of people refer to him as a little blueberry which is hilarious considering he's supposed to be one of the more intimidating characters in the show. Anyway I think I'm getting into the groove of updating this collection finally so that's good. Here's some fluff ^_^ Enjoy!

Your study sessions with Kageyama had been going pretty well lately. In fact, you believed you were absorbing more information than ever before. But of course it helped that Kageyama was easy on the eyes. Not that he ever thought about that.

You two would rotate the study schedule every week, and this week the schedule was for you to go over to his house after he was done with volleyball practice. That was the plan before he approached you in English class looking incredibly flustered.

"Y/n! I can we change the schedule? Something came up today that I can not change." He asked you, his dark blue eyes gazing down at the floor. You shrugged, gazing at him with curious eyes. You wondered what had come up, but it wasn't really your business after all.

"Sure. We can just study next week, I think it'd be nice to have a break anyway. We're both doing ok in our classes." you said. It was true that you and Kageyama had vastly improved your grades by studying together, so you were completely fine with skipping one session.

Kageyama stood still for a moment, his dark blue eyes darting left and right before he blurted out, "Y-You can still come over if you want. T-To...wait a minute..." he stammered before pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket. He took notes on what he was going to say to you!?

"If you want to spend quality time with me at my place of residence? Would five o'clock work for you?"

Who wrote him this formal script? It sounds like something Tsukishima would say...

"If you're fine with that. Sounds fun actually!" you said cheerfully, trying to banish the awkwardness from the conversation. He nodded his head curtly and immediately walked away from your desk.

Well, alright then. I wonder what we're going to do if we're not studying?

...

Kageyama's house was a short bike ride from Karasuno, so after the school day was over you did some of your homework outside and then left for his house. It was so warm out, that some of the cicadas still buzzed in the trees. There wasn't even a breeze in the air. You hopped on your small bike and started pedaling fast.

The streets near Karasuno were pretty hilly so you liked building up speed and zooming downhill. In no time you reached Kageyama's street and you parked in front of his modest-looking house. You made sure not to step on the small lawn in front, his mom and dad were very proud of that patch of grass.

You stepped up to the door and rang the doorbell. "Kageyama, it's me."

Before you could ring the doorbell again Kageyama swung open the door and stepped outside, effectively blocking you from entering his house. Alright, he was officially acting weird.

"Kageyama, what's going on? You've been acting strange all day." you said to him while he just looked at you with wide eyes.

"I-I have a surprise for you y/n, since it was your birthday a few days ago. And I only got you one small thing--"

"Oh I loved that notebook you got for me! It was leather bound and everything!" you exclaimed, your lips forming a wide smile at the thought of your precious notebook.

"Y-Yeah but I...I think you deserve more. You've been such a g-great addition to my life and I wanted to tha...think...than..."

Can he not say thanks or something? He's so prideful...

"...THANKS!"

"Ah!" you gasped out in surprise, until you quickly regained your composure. "If you want to surprise me...surprise me."

"Ok, come in. Can I cover your eyes though?"

"With what?"

"My hands..."

"Ok." you said. He went behind you and placed his warm hands over your eyes. Your eyelashes brushed against his palms, and you could only make out small slivers of light from behind his calloused fingers.

"I'll lead you y/n. I'll be your eyes."

"Sounds good to me."

He gently lead you through the doorway and into his house, giving you quiet instructions so you didn't bump into anything or fall. "Alright stop. You ready?" he asked you softly, and you smiled as your heart raced with anticipation. He sounded so tender, it was quite endearing.

"Yep! I'm ready."

He removed his hands and you squinted your eyes. The room was flooded with bright warm light, which made your eyes adjust to it. But when they did you were completely taken by surprise.

Small candles lined the kitchen table, counters, and parts of the windowsills in the living room. The kitchen table also had three expensive looking rose bouquets in glass vases, along with two plates that had piles of pasta on them. There was also a pizza box on the kitchen counter away from the candles.

"You like pasta right? And I made sure to get your favorite pizza."

"Y-Yes. Of course I love pasta...but how'd you...where...where are your parents?"

"Out of town for the day, they'll be back tomorrow though." he replied, his eyes searching for your reaction to his surprise.

"Wow...Kageyama! No one has ever done something like this for me. It's so thoughtful, I love it. Thank you."

"Well thank you for helping me so much with my grades. And for being a real friend...it means a l-lot." Kageyama said. His eyes softened as they gazed at you, and you became painfully aware of the lack of space between you both.

"Kageyama..." you started to say, but your voice trailed off. However, your body moved on its own and you pressed your lips against Kageyama's firmly but with a softness that was instinctual. You didn't want to move too fast and not enjoy the moment.

He grunted softly against your lips, but he soon relaxed into it and placed his hands on your waist. He moved his lips against yours, and to your surprise he nibbled softly on your bottom lip before pulling away, his face a deep red.

You watched him breathlessly, waiting for what he was going to say.

"Y/n...happy late birthday?"

You laughed, your head bowing down slightly at his dry humor. "Kageyama. Thank you so much."

Kageyama's eyes drifted over to the food on the table and he gave you a tiny smile. "You deserve it y/n. Do you want to eat now?"

"Definitely!"
