Head Over Heels ( Newt X Reader)

Chapter Two ( Newt's pov)

I hear the sirens blaring for the box to deliver new supplies to us. When the doors open I see another girl in the box. She looking at us and has H/C hair, and E/C eyes. I hear Gally say "Maybe they're giving one to each of us." All of a sudden she yells "Where the bloody hell am I?" I immediatly know she is for me and yell "Mine!" I go down into the box to bring her up and I don't know how else to carry her other than bridal style. When we get to out she shoves me away from her and begins to run. She turns toward an enterance to the maze and Thomas runs to stop her befor she can leave. She begins to run towards the pit she jumps in and closes the makshift door. By the time I get there everyone is jeering at her and I tell them to leave her alone. I open the door and go down into the pit with her. I see her tense and stop where I am so I don't scare her anymore than she already is. To make her feel better I say "Sorry about the boys. We haven't had a another girl in awhile." She doesn't say anything so I continue and say "My name is Newt. Welcome to the Glade." Out of nowhere she says "Y/N" I ask "What was that?" She says "My name is Y/N." I go over to the door and open it for her and she leaves as I follow her. I see her glance at the openings that lead to the maze and say "Don't do it Y/N." I give her the tour and start with the kitchen and I end with the forest. I tell her there is going to be a bonfire tonight as she nods her head. I walk over to Thomas and ask "What do you think of her?" He says "She would be a good runner." I look at him and say "Maybe." I look and find Y/N sitting just on the edge of the forest. I look at Thomas and say "We should start setting up for the bonfire tonight."
