Scream | Awsten

I had this idea inspired by the Not Warriors/Crybaby music video.

"Awsten," she whispers, her eyes closed. He breathes in her scent, never wanting to let her go.

"I love you," he murmurs as he lets his lips brush hers.

He feels her smile against him as she wraps her arms around his neck. She pulls him closer, and their lips meet. He tastes sweet to her, as does she to him.

She pulls him even closer as their breaths get shallower and more desperate. His hand rests on her hip, his body only lightly pressed into hers.

"Awsten," she whispers, making him pull away. He looks into her eyes. She's the most beautiful person he's ever seen in his entire life, and he can't believe she's all his.

"What?" he asks softly. But then he notices the look in her eyes. "What is it?" he asks, his voice laced with concern.

"I can't," she says. Her voice is apologetic. Somehow, this breaks his heart even more.

"You can't what?" he asks, his voice already thick.

"I can't be with you anymore," she breathes, and he pulls away. She doesn't look distressed. She looks distressed for him. And he hates it.

He doesn't know what to say. He can't even look at her. He looks down as she steps off the bed.

"I'm sorry," she says, but he doesn't reply. He can't. "I'll leave now," she whispers, and he's left alone in his room.

He'd never felt that for anyone before. Now, she's gone.

He can't help it; he collapses on his bed and screams. He screams until he can't scream anymore.

Geoff and Otto burst into his room, worried that he's being murdered. They share a knowing look when they see the purple-haired boy lying on his bed, face-down with his face buried in a pillow.

"Awsten," Geoff says, sitting down beside him and touching his shoulder.

"She broke my heart," he cries, and Geoff pats his shoulder awkwardly.

"That was months ago, Awsten. Come on. You have to get your shit together," he says, and Otto sits on the bed, too.

"It was now. Didn't you see her?" he demands, lifting his face to look at the two boys.

"Awsten. No. Snap out of it," Geoff says. Awsten searches his face, trying to find any trace of a joke. He finds none.

"Fuck," he says, and Geoff shakes his head.

"You need to get out of this room."

The next day, he sits on his bed, staring at the wall absently. He thinks back to when they would be on this very bed together.

And then he starts screaming.

I'm sorRY I'm going to make a part two!

But also can you imagine someone not loving Awsten like honestly

If in some alternate universe I get the chance to be with him, you can bet your ass I would never leave him
