Chapter 43

I had just finished making breakfast as i put the last pancake on the plate for Keiran. I had made him a big breakfast with eggs, bacon, beans, sausage, mushrooms, waffles and pancakes. Yep all just for him, i woke up in a good mood and thought i'd spoil him.

I then poured the last of the milk into my bowl of cereal leaving it on the kitchen counter.

I fixed my top as i walked down to the bedroom to find him sitting on the edge of the bed with his head planted into his hands. I raised an eyebrow before sitting down beside him resting my hand on his back.

Me-you okay?" he then sat up wiping away a tear

Me-Keiran whats wrong?" i asked completely worried

Him-It's the anniversary of Jalissa's death" i swallowed my spit as memories of her flooded my mind.

Me-omg" i then wrapped both arms around him as he rested his head on my shoulder.

Me-i'm soo sorry" i said sniffing as i rubbed his back gently

Him-feels like it was just yesterday" A tear then escaped my eye.

Him-i hate being the one responsible" i quickly pulled away and looked him in the eye

Me-This isn't your fault

Him-it was.

Me-you can't blame yourself. It wasn't you who took her life

Him-i might as well have" i looked down before wiping away my tears.

Me-she wouldn't want you blaming yourself for ever

Him-it's only be 3 years

Me-thats long enough... No matter what you think you done she is still watching over you, wanting the best for you. Dont blame yourself. Okay?" he just shook his head. I just sunk him back into my hug trying to get hold of my emotions.

Me-you know she still loves you.. Even up there Kier... Don't blame yourself for something good. She's in a better place now

Him-she was 14 Shin

Me-god had other plans

Him-nah i doubt it" i shook my head still rubbing his back

Me-you going to your mums?

Him-they left for florida yesterday.. They said they couldn't take it" i closed my eyes.

Me-you should have went

Him-i got a family now" he replied pulling away with a faint smile

Him-you guys are far more important than running away from my emotions" i smiled stroking his cheek

Me-i guess your not coming to the leaving party

Him-nah course i'm coming

Me-you sure

Him-yeah, it would take my mind of everything" i then smiled

Me-okay... well i made you breakfast if your hungry, if not...

Him-thanks" he said getting up and walking out of the room. I lightly laughed and walked out into the kitchen.

He then sat down and began tucking into his food. He ate all of it in the space of 5 minutess

Me-are you still hungry?" i asked confused

Him-nah, that was nice" he answered leaning back into the chair and patting his stomach. I shook my head still chewing on my cereal.
