Strings and traps. Things that puppeteers use as their bait. Those mischievous smiles made them one to be the vicious predator. Their piteous prey will be their toy.
They always wanted to play coy.
Refuse and you will be in danger. Refuse and you will conquer the consequences you wished for.
Then, you better off running.
The people around won't help you, do not ask for them because there will always be the "good returner" who's always wanted the keeps of in exchange.
Trust no one, like I did.
I was once young and innocent, I trusted people around me because they look kind and caring but my innocence ended up being wrecked.
They killed the old me, and I was reborn into a new one. I was once trapped in their invisible strings, I was once a puppet beyond this world.
This is an art of manipulation, fell into their trap and you're dead. Cut the strings that made you the puppet, play with pleasure, challenge their heads, and fight with passion.
