It was the night before Mikasa's first day of kindergarten. [Last Name] had invited the boys over to partake in a mini celebration she was doing.
"I can't believe you'll be starting school tomorrow," Yamazaki said, ruffling Mikasa's hair, "Where did the time go?"
"You sound like an old man who is about to watch his daughter get married," Hara said. He laughed at Yamazaki's glare.
"[First Name]-san," Furuhashi said, turning his back from the two idiots, "where's Hanamiya-san?"
"Probably crying in the room about his little girl growing up," she joked, unable to contain a laugh.
"Oi, I heard that." Hanamiya walked into the dining room, a scowl on his face.
Mikasa's eyes brightened at the sight of him. She pushed Yamazaki's hand away from her, and ran up to hug Hanamiya's legs.
"Daddy, I start school tomorrow!"
"Yes, yes, I know." He patted her head awkwardly.
Hanamiya was always a bit... tsundere when it came to his daughter. [Last Name] knew how much he loved her, but he never really let that show— especially in front of the boys.
