Fanfic Part 1- Getting ready
Lilly's P.O.V
*Ding Dong* Excitedly, I ran down the stairs straight to the front door. I opened it almost immediately , knowing that Jade, (my best friend) would be stood there waiting. I was right. There was Jade with the biggest grin on her face. Before I could greet her she ran upstairs, and into my room. I ran up to join her, to see her lying on my bed with several dresses she'd brought for us to try on. Luckily we're the same dress size so occasionally we share clothes.
We tried all the outfits on, and once we had decided I did Jade's hair and makeup and she did mine. She looked gorgeous! If anyone was going to pull tonight, it was going to be her. She was wearing a stunning pink dress that suited her figure so well, with some simple black stilettos. Her hair was tied up loosely in a bun with an exotic pink flower holding her fringe back. "Perfection" I thought. I was wearing a plain one shouldered red dress, with red stilettos. My wavy hair was pinned to the side so it would stay there. Jade told me I looked great, but I was not convinced.
At 7o'clock my Mum ran up to my room telling us the taxi was here. "You got everything?" Jade said winking at me, knowing I'm the type of person that is likely to forget something. I nodded laughing and then got into the taxi. I told the driver where we wanted to go, he laughed to himself. I and Jade looked to each other wondering if we'd said something funny. He explained that, most of the taxis that had been called out had all been going to the same place as we were. This dance must be an occasion to remember. We all smiled as we pulled away from my drive
