As the gentle breeze blows through my hair, I walk around the block Alex lives in. I just left his house after I had lunch with him; we decided to order Chinese.

My mum had a meeting today so she would come home late, as in for my dad, he'll be there on his usual time. And Sam is probably with Sabrina at home or he's with Kevin, his best friend, practicing WWE moves on that poor guy.

I do that to him too though.

I changed into my clothes from yesterday before I left. I made sure I had all my stuff as well. I need to shower once I get home.

I walk past a couple of identical houses and spot my favourite Starbucks cafe at the end of the street. Alex and I usually go there to do our homework or just sit down and talk about everything and anything.

I push open the glass door and step inside. I remember when I first came here, I pulled on the door when it clearly said Push in big bold letters. Nonetheless, the door opened.

The cafe is warm and lit up with fluorescent lights. Surprisingly, there are a lot of people here today and it's noisy. Usually it's quiet and that made me love this place.

Oh well, looks like I'm not staying here for long. I want my hot chocolate with marshmallows and I'll leave.

I stand in queue and calmly wait for my turn as I scroll through Pinterest, my second favourite app on my phone.

The line moves slowly and a few agonizingly slow minutes later, I find myself staring into a pair of stormy grey eyes, with my mouth hanging open.

Apparently, he recognizes me too because he flushes already.

"Welcome to Starbucks," he says nervously, "um.. what would you like to order?"

I blink at him once. Twice. And recover. "Are you new here?" I ask out of stupidity, because come on, I'm a regular customer and I know the staff members.

He nods. "Oh. No wonder why I've never seen you here before," I mumble. His cheeks grow redder by the second. "Um, can I have a medium size hot chocolate, please?" I smile at him.
