hi there, loves! first and foremost, thank you so much to KellyAnneBlount for giving me an opportunity to be in this year's wattpad block party! this is my first time to be a featured author here, and i'm very excited to be a part of this awesome event!

for those who don't know me yet, my name's cassie, and i'm a college student who runs entirely on caffeine and wattpad. i'd been on a hiatus for about two years before i found passion in writing again and came back last may 2017, and since then, i've written and completed four books in total—something i'm very proud of, considering my busy schedule at uni and my unhealthy habit of procrastinating. to my awesome friends and readers, thank you so much for supporting me and my books, despite my sporadic updates. love you guys!

today, i'll be presenting an interview based on questions about my finished books, and then i'll be posting a sneak peek on a certain character's perspective! let's get going with my post now, shall we?

~

question: which book was your favorite one to write?

answer: my favorite would be piece by piece because it had been planned and rewritten numerous times for five years before i finally managed to complete its first part last november 2017—it was my entry for nanowrimo, which i miraculously finished in a span of twenty-eight days.

question: which book are you most proud of?

answer: once again, i'm going to say that it's piece by piece. after all the editing i've done for the past five years, i was finally able to post the first part completely during nanowrimo 2017. in a limited amount of time, i finished writing a book that i've poured a lot of my time and effort into. although i felt like the ending was cut short, finishing the first part of the series was such an amazing feeling!

question: any motivation or inspiration when you have writer's block?

answer: when i have writer's block, (which is almost all the time, oops) i usually take a short break from writing, listen to a lot of music, and read books from my personal collection or books on wattpad. most of the time, i resort to taking breaks during my writing period.

forcing yourself into writing or finishing something that's based on time pressure and stress won't be as satisfying as finishing something that's solely built on inspiration and well thought-out ideas and paragraphs. personally, i'd rather take a long time out on writing to gather my thoughts together before focusing and working on it completely than rush myself to produce something that's been done half-heartedly.

question: 2018 wattpad goals?

answer: hmm, there are a lot to say because this year marks my first year of being active again on wattpad. yay! i'll just narrow it down to my top five list.
