Simply Life

You are the sun before the rain.

I don't know how that is possible though,

you see,

where i reside, in my tiny little zillionth of the world the sun doesn't shine.

Darkness fills every little corner and crevice.

It hides places i never thought even existed.

But, then there's you,

a lantern hanging in the hands of help,

guiding the way out,

out of this darkness,

out of my tiny world and into reality.

And god it's scary as shit,

but as you once told me:

That's simply life.
