Jasper Dizznee

Eight Years Ago...From The Memory of Jasper Dizznee
OH MY GOSH I'M HAVING SO MUCH FUN! ROSEMARY, CELESTE, ALEX, ISAAC, IRIS, THEO, AMY, HENRY AND ME ARE PLAYING THIS GAME WHERE YOU HIDE AND THEN SOMEONE GOES AND FINDS YOU AND I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE WE'RE ALL HAVING FUN ANWAYS-

"HENRY STOP BEING MEAN!" screeched Amy, who was trying to hide behind a thin tree in the middle of the yard, "THIS IS A GREAT HIDING SPOT!"

Henry was fuming, "NO IT ISN'T! EVERYONE KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE! WE CAN ALL SEE YOU!"

Oh great. Those two are fighting again. Why can't they just stop so we can all play and have fun together? I don't like fighting.

"Oh no, I can't find anyone! They better be quiet or I might be able to hear them!" Celeste called out, walking around slowly. I was hiding behind a bush and could watch her through the leaves as she sharply reached behind a tree and grabbed Rosemary roughly by the arm. Rosemary stumbled and instantly Alexjumped out from behind a pile of rocks.

"HEY!" he shouted, walking over to the twins, "You could hurt her! Come on, Celeste!"

Celeste smirked as he pried her fingers off of her sister's arm and gently wrapped his own hand around it instead as if he were protecting her arm from Celeste. Celeste laughed, and touched his shoulder, "But it makes it so much easier to find you. Tag, I found you."

Alex spluttered, "What? That's-That's... That's cheating!"

"No, it's clever," Celeste remarked and Alex looked at Rosemary exasperatedly.

Rosemary shrugged, "She's right, it is clever. You're very protective over all of us."

"Right," Celeste said in a funny voice [sarcasm], "and I wouldn't do that to anyone but my twin. She gets it, and she won't cry."

Rosemary sniffled, "M-maybe a little..."

Alex jolted like someone kicked his coconuts (as dad likes to call them) and Celeste looked like she was playing robot.

"WHAT?!" Alex exclaimed, sounding really scared.

"Oh my gosh, Rose, I'm so sorry-" Celeste blubber-wubbered and Rosemary laughed loudly,

"I TOTALLY got you guys! Celeste isn't the only one with a few tricks up her sleeve."

Alex and Celeste sighed in relief and Rosemary continued, "Come on, let's find everyone else. Isaac... Theo... Iris... Amy... Henry... Jasper... where are you?"

I perked up at my name, then remembered I was supposed to be hiding and ducked back down.

The first waves spread out and Rosemary looked around where Amy was hiding, "Hmmm, where could those kids be?"

"CAN YOU NOT SEE AMY HIDING? SHE'S RIGHT THERE!" shouted Henry angrily.

"SHUT UP, HENRY! NOW SHE KNOWS WHERE I AM!" Amy yelled back.

"Hey, don't say 'shut up'. And it's not nice to tell the seeker where someone's hiding place is," Rosemary scolded them.

"HE STARTED IT!" shrieked Amy.

"NUH-UH! YOU SHOULD HAVE A BETTER HIDING PLACE!" replied Henry.

"MY HIDING PLACE IS AWESOME!"

"IT SUCKS!"

"HEY! Guys! Be nice or we're not going to play and we're never going to find Isaac, Jasper, and Theo!" Celeste threatened as she tagged Iris, who was hiding behind a rock.
