No one's POV
Lauren usually doesn't sleep at afternoons.
When Y/N got back from work, she saw her wife snuggled up on the couch with bunch of pillows around her.
She was sleeping peacefully.
Y/N wanted to wake her up but she couldn't help but to just let Lauren sleep.
She went to her office room and started on her work.
It's not like she's going to regret letting her wife sleep.
..
Wrong.
She regrets letting her wife sleep.
When Y/N put a sleeping Lauren on their bed, she began to wake up.
It's currently 1AM.
"Hey, it's time to go to sleep again." Y/N said softly and she went in with Lauren under the covers.
Lauren sleepily snuggled up to her and Y/N sighed in relief when her wife continued to sleep.
She really thought that was it.
After half an hour Lauren sat up and stretched her whole body.
She looks at her sleeping wife with a smile.
She started to wake Y/N up.
After a few minutes she groan when her wife didn't move a muscle.
Lauren started to poke Y/N on the face.
Y/N groaned and swatted her hand away.
Lauren started to get tired.
With one last poke, her finger went in Y/N's ear.
"Ow!" Y/N yelped and jolted up.
"Honey, I can't sleep." Lauren said and Y/N groaned.
Y/N laid back down and pulled Lauren along.
"Shh. It's sleep time" Y/N said and Lauren wiggled but didn't get out of Y/N's hold.
"But I'm not sleepy anymore!"
Y/N just hummed and started to get back to sleep.
Lauren looked up at her with a pout.
She moved and straddled Y/N.
"I'm hungry." Lauren said and she leaned down to kiss Y/N repeatedly on the cheek.
Y/N groaned again.
She opened her eyes when she heard Lauren's stomach make a loud noise.
She sighed and sat up with Lauren still straddling her.
"What do you want to eat?" She said with raspy and sleepy voice.
"What do we have?" Lauren asked.
Y/N let her forehead fall on Lauren's shoulder and closed her eyes.
After Lauren rambling about food, Y/N stood up with Lauren clinged onto her.
Lauren smiled widely and gave her a kiss.
They got downstairs and Y/N placed Lauren on the counter and opened the fridge.
"Do we have pizza? I want pizza" Lauren said and Y/N opened the freezer.
"Frozen pizza." Y/N said and Lauren smiled.
Y/N prepared and she put the pizza in the oven.
She yawned and rubbed her eyes.
"Aw baby." Lauren cooed and she opened her arms.
Y/N went in her arms and stood between her legs.
"You know you can go back to sleep." Lauren said and Y/N shook her head.
"I don't want you to stay awake alone." Y/N said.
When the pizza was done, Lauren ate and Y/N took bites.
After eating they went back to bed.
They immediately went back to cuddling.
Y/N was about to go to sleep but Lauren talked.
"Do you want to know what happened today, I mean, yesterday?" Lauren asked Y/N. Her head on Y/N's chest and they're tangled together.
It was quiet for a while.
"I would love to." Y/N said and Lauren smiled.
"Okay, this morning..."
Lauren started to ramble about her day.
Y/N would hum and nod at Lauren.
They had a late night talk about nonsense.
Y/N stayed hard to stay awake.
After an hour a miracle happened.
"And.... and then...." Lauren's voice started to slur.
After a while it went quiet.
Y/N looked at Lauren and and she saw her sleeping peacefully.
Y/N smiled and kissed Lauren on the head.
"I love you." She whispered.
She finally closed her eyes and let sleep take over her.
